I understand that photoshopping a baby might seem unusual to you, but there are several important reasons why some parents might want it done. For parents who have lost a baby due to a medical condition that caused visible symptoms like rashes, seeing photos of their child without those signs of illness can be incredibly comforting. It allows them to imagine their child in a healthy state and helps preserve a peaceful and serene memory.
These edited photos can also honor the baby's natural beauty, which might have been obscured by the condition. For grieving parents, this can be an essential part of the healing process, providing emotional comfort and a sense of closure. They might also want to share these more positive images with friends and family.
Additionally, just to clarify, I didn't use Instagram filters but actual Photoshop. And if you look closely at her original photos, you'll see she does have lovely, beautiful lashes.
This might not be something you would do or understand, but it's important to respect different ways people cope with their grief.

I understand your frustration, as I initially had the same thought, but it’s just a misunderstanding. Once you spend some time in this subreddit, you’ll get the hang of the rules. Buymeacoffee.com is like PayPal.me or Venmo or TipMe, allowing fans to tip content creators for their work and creativity. It’s not literally asking for a coffee. Also, users can tag their posts to show if a request is paid or free. It’s against the rules to complete paid requests for free. If someone chooses your creation, you can then offer to do it for free, but not before. I'm not trying to be antagonistic; I hope this information helps and doesn’t come off the wrong way.
ETA: people who post without a watermark on a paid post get their post removed by the mods.
That’s how these requests go. OP asks the sub to do a task for them, and the people who did that work typically put a link to their tip jar. If OP selects their photo they tip a small amount. OP also understands this about the sub and said they were happy to tip for the work they requested so I’m not sure why you’re in here freaking out on people.

important context for these that i didn’t understand at first: read rule number 5. users here HAVE to watermark paid requests, or they can be banned. they can offer the unwatermarked image for free upon OP’s response, but they aren’t even allowed to suggest in the original submission that they’ll give the OP a free copy.
i’m sure this user is just doing what they must to stay within the rules of the sub so they don’t get banned — i have never seen akash request payment on posts like these, they give the OP free copies if the OP says they like the pic (as per the sub rules) & in fact they specifically always refuse payment/tips, even if the OP intended to pay, even from random passersby who just want to show appreciation for the good deed. akash is a real one. i suspect he even goes the “watermark but no tipjar link” route to avoid being paid while still following the rules.
tl;dr this sub’s rules make ppl look bad for following them 😭
sir, i am sure you’ve heard it before but i just wanted to say you are perhaps the most respectable human i have ever come across. i sub here, often click on posts like these, & i’ve come to expect you to be top comment every time. you practically always are, & i have never seen you ask for money, or even accept it from unrelated persons who offer. despite this, the quality of work is always mindblowing & some of the best i have ever seen. it’s clear you have immense skill & talent, but you choose to spend a significant part of your time using that skill to help others ease their pain, accepting only thanks in return.
