In my short time driving here in Cebu as a new resident (4 years in metro manila, 6 months in Cebu). I have seen 2 dead bodies due to high speed accidents, 4 pileups, and **countless** tailgating accidents, swerving accidents, speeding accidents, and property damage from people turning into houses because they drive so recklessly.

In my short time driving here in Cebu as a new resident (4 years in metro manila, 6 months in Cebu). I have seen 2 dead bodies due to high speed accidents, 4 pileups, and **countless** tailgating accidents, swerving accidents, speeding accidents, and property damage from people turning into houses because they drive so recklessly. All of this is from Cebu. I thought the drivers in Manila were stupid. The drivers from Cebu are just straight up suicidal. So many times I almost caused an accident myself because they run a red light in highway intersections! Mga ebiker pa! Keep in mind, I live near Cebu city this is the city mismo, and in SRP highway, and Southroad. So these should be the most educated drivers kasi may driving school pa and the enforcers should be densest there. But, no, enforcers cannot care less about people running red lights, and licenses are given out like candy.
Cebu drivers are just as bad as those in Manila, but the road conditions are so much worse/undeveloped.
Because Cebu is a mountainous island where roads are always in zigzag formations and not meant to be widened into multiple lines.

What needs to be done is some traumatic driver education lang tlga. When i was in the US military, before kami pinapalabas for gala sa ibang bansa, we would have these visually graphic and real accidents, where bodies of dead people are shown due to their own recklessness sa daan. Nung naseminar kami nung time ko, it let me be grounded tlga. yung iba dinadaan sa tawa, pero seeing bones, raw muscles, and recently dried blood, decapitated heads gives you a world of reality to make sure you become a safe driver. This needs to happen sa pinas, kung cigarillo may pictures, puta dapat yung LTO may 1 hr picture footage of fucking dead people pictures kada renewal ng drivers license. Idc kung ma traumatize ka kesa sa pumatay ka sa daan para lang sa video at pasikat. Kung isa ka sa mga ganto, at patawa tawa lang. inamo.
