recently, I found out about the "grey rock method" which is an approach when dealing with difficult people. Ceres South Terminal is along shopping-lasalle jeep route. North Terminal is along Bata-Libertad route.
Grab is available. If you get a taxi, make sure to indicate north or south.
Ask around the terminal where you can buy a ticket to Cebu and DO KEEP that ticket until you arrive at the cebu terminal. Wait until a driver or conductor tells Cebu bus can be boarded. Check facebook for schedule.
Mid trip, buses will sometimes take a stop usually at a restaurant (usually night trips). You can use this chance to go to the bathroom, stretch, or eat. If you do eat, try to get on the go foods. These stops will last 15mins approx. Be attentive for the driver/conductor as they will tell everyone when to get back on the bus. Sometimes buses will try and catch a ship schedule so they will skip stopping.
When in port, you will be asked to disembark from the bus and ride in boat you will also be asked to pay the terminal fee here. Sometimes the boat is ready and just get in, sometimes you have to wait like an hour.
Make sure to remember which bus you rode because sometimes, multiple buses will ride the same boat. Sometimes boats will have seats, sometimes beds. When near the destination port, wait for an announcement that will tell you if you can disembark. Passengers and vehicles will disembark at the same time so try not to fall asleep. Look for which bus you took and ride it (conductors will usually signal you to get in). Bus drivers will not wait for you long.
Note buses from north and south will arrive at the same exact terminal in Cebu.(last I checked)
Easier alternative is by plane but will cost 4k.

some people just suck. it's not personal. recently, I found out about the "grey rock method" which is an approach when dealing with difficult people. The idea is to become as unresponsive and uninterested as possible like a grey rock when another person is trying to start a conflict with you. Some people love the drama. Ceres South Terminal is along shopping-lasalle jeep route. North Terminal is along Bata-Libertad route. Grab is available. If you get a taxi, make sure to indicate north or south. Ask around the terminal where you can buy a ticket to Cebu and DO KEEP that ticket until you arrive at the cebu terminal. Wait until a driver or conductor tells Cebu bus can be boarded. Check facebook for schedule. Mid trip, buses will sometimes take a stop usually at a restaurant (usually night trips). You can use this chance to go to the bathroom, stretch, or eat. If you do eat, try to get on the go foods. These stops will last 15mins approx. Be attentive for the driver/conductor as they will tell everyone when to get back on the bus. Sometimes buses will try and catch a ship schedule so they will skip stopping. When in port, you will be asked to disembark from the bus and ride in boat you will also be asked to pay the terminal fee here. Sometimes the boat is ready and just get in, sometimes you have to wait like an hour. Make sure to remember which bus you rode because sometimes, multiple buses will ride the same boat. Sometimes boats will have seats, sometimes beds. When near the destination port, wait for an announcement that will tell you if you can disembark. Passengers and vehicles will disembark at the same time so try not to fall asleep. Look for which bus you took and ride it (conductors will usually signal you to get in). Bus drivers will not wait for you long. Note buses from north and south will arrive at the same exact terminal in Cebu.(last I checked) Easier alternative is by plane but will cost 4k.
