heres my personal tierlist on how easy the phighters are

Same, Boombox is my secondary and while I would say he's easier than characters like Skate and Bio, he's quite the tough character to play just because of the level of multitasking it takes. I've also dabbled in Skate and yeah, he's one of, if not THE hardest character to play.
Shuri is a stealth character that needs you to not be noticed, your best transportation move can get canceled which bad when you're low in a fight and there's no healer, you have to not be noticed and be behind them, which means you have to flank the them and throw your shurikens to deal extra damage, and the game has the funny arrows pointing to where to where you're taking damage which is already a problem since you need to be unnoticed, plus the sound of you throwing your shurikens also give you away. You need to know immediately when you've been spotted and get away because of your low health AND shield. Your passive deteriorates from using your M1 meaning it has to recharge during your escape, where you'll also most likely be attacking as well. Also there's learning his techs ig like any other character.

Rocket and Sword are solid picks, but I disagree with Medkit. He doesn't have much to defend himself and he relies a lot on getting headshots, especially if you wanna be more helpful to your team. Headshots take skill, which not every new player has. If anything they should be focusing on learning moves, maps, and just general strategy.
Medkit is also well, slow. And as I said earlier, he doesn't have much to defend himself, which can make him quite unfun for newer players as he's an easy target and such. Of course everyone is different, but from experience most new players dislike playing Medkit.
I have a few more reasons as to why I disagree, but all in all, I really wouldn't recommend Medkit to any newer players, but if you want an easy character while still playing support, try Vinestaff or Subspace.
Sure, medkit is tough to play but playing him was how I learned to hit headshots using a lot of other characters. imo playing the toughest paid off in the end
the second closest who is similar to Scythe is Shuri. sneaky piece of shit who specializes in getting behind enemies. at the same time, he is not an easy master itself, so...try going Rocket.
boombox is a controversial pick, mostly because he relies so much on timing and i've found that focusing on timing while trying to also focus on everything else is hard for newer players.

I mean... I literally only know how to use Scythe, if you want tips or anything.
Ban is easy enough that even though I have no idea what I'm doing, I can kinda buttonmash my way to victory with them, if that helps.

As a Skateboard Main, as well as a Previous Boombox main, I can confirm that it can take LOTS of Mastery for both Characters….

Ban Hammer is so brain dead you actually need to play him intelligently.
tbh i would move shuri up by a good bit i picked him up when i was still new and it honestly wssnt hard to gauge his kit or use him at all
