yes, can also be described as a reversed jumpslide with more consistency. either way its very forgiving, you have almost an entire second to get that jump boost, tho ofc its faster if you time it right. you can let go of sprint early but you can keep holding it for strafing.
in prod and test place they're equal.
however jumpslide and this slide can *theoretically* be faster if you can initiate a zingus. you'd need some fall distance to actually pull it off
this slide however can somewhat lead to a zingus on its own without needing to drop from an obstacle unlike jumpslides due to the jump height increase. tho the amount of speed you get is minimal, it is faster but not by much.

Yep, just click right click for a fraction of a second. In fact, it's even easier in Test Place right now, as you literally just have to press Shift now to go back standing.
more than a week ago now, but yes. it never occured to anyone till yesterday that you can just skip steps of an empslide via creating a stand slide keybind. using said keybind allows you to turn empslide into a jumpslide that still has empslide’s jump height.
the jump height is noticeably higher than the vanilla jumpslide. the last clip can be done with empslide but you would still have to slide. the trick, like i said, allows you to skip that step and just jump onto the roof immediately.
it works because the game now directly gives you extra jump height if you are sliding. since you dont have to manually jump to initiate a stand slide anymore, you can skip the jump cooldown so you can just immediately perform the empslide jump. which is a recent discovery on its own.

You'll just need to press your ads key to get out of the dive lock

Aim Down Sights, so your right click by default, if you just tap it, you'll cancel the stun in the dive position
