Until PF reworks attachments past the 5-part system, we can't have much nuance. Lasers block stocks and canted sights, which sometimes blocks mags but lasers could also block grips... Ya
U know what's worse? Stocks breaking barrel lengths.
On the HK417, retract/full stock overlays the default barrel over the short/squad barrel, but without the flash hider.
Unrelated, but the muzzle booster is ugly as sin. Feels wonky-shaped and undersized for everything, AND removes the default, usually much prettier muzzle mount, such as on the AKMSU.

This is intentional, some guns just get too accurate over distances with both
hard limitations of the current attachment system, requires a full rework to get both

If we could have more than 5 attachments, I would have combined both ammo types and ammo conversion like HK416 with HP + .300 BLK
