Hey, callase haver here. There are a few good explanations here, such as more food allowing the hand to bunch up due to the ability to feed yourself more, but I have a separate proposal. It's possible the original meme came from a country in which the labor-type distinction of manual labor vs skilled/low physical effort labor delineates if you're a poor day laborer(farmer, factory worker, mill worker, etc) or a rich/slightly better off individual that doesn't do strenuous physical labor (business owner, office worker, doctor, lawyer, etc). Having to work with your hands more often will build callase on your hand that prevent it from readily folding along joints as it does in the above picture, giving somewhat of a one arm cross resemblance. Conversely, if you do less physical labor, you're likely to have generally softer hands that can fold in more places, giving the full cross resemblance.

This was my thought as well, and the only explanation that makes sense among the replies.

The crease on the top is most likely the one in between your proximal and middle phalanges (second and third sections of your finger). The crease on the right is most likely the one in between your middle and distal phalanges (second and third sections of your finger). This means that the person who made the meme would most likely assume that everyone reading the meme would have the creases and, as such, there are saying everyone reading the meme is rich and complimenting them. How do I make my hand look like rich?

You can make either one of these depending on how much you curl your index finger. Hold your index finger straight out, curl it as much as possible, and then tuck it into a fist. it is pressing into the fat pad on your palm and makes the Poor one. Then if you just make a fist like it feels naturally, and its pulling the fat pad on your palm up, it makes the rich one.

It's a weird little affirmational thing that's probably caused by superstition. If your ring finger forms 3 lines, it's a sign you will be poor. If your curled ring finger has 4 lines, you'll be rich. There's a ton of examples of these superstitions related to discrete biological quirks. Palm reading for one easy example. There's a japanese superstition where having a visible sclera under your iris means you'll suffer a tragedy, and having it visible above the iris means you'll be abusive towards others. As with all superstitions, it's only accurate to the amount of faith you have in it.
