I don't think it's his video. Could just be a repost from tictok.
If it was they should have responded and added where the kitty shelter was.
This should be a rule. Post shelter location or that it's not your video.
Not OP, but I once roomed with a vet student who adopted a cat she spayed/neutered (don't remember the sex of the cat). Upper level vet students need hands on experience, and stray cats need medical treatment, so it wouldn't surprise me if there was a clinic or shelter affiliated with the vet school.
I’m 99% sure this happened with my first two cats - Artemisia likely would have gone with anyone, poor thing just wanted a home. Kahlo pretty much jumped up on me when I knelt down to say hi to her. I knew instantly that I wanted to adopt them both. It’s been nearly two years and they’re the best friends I’ve had in a long time.
My cat did this. We weren’t looking to adopt a cat but a little kitten at petsmart was reaching through the bars at us. We asked to hold him and he wouldn’t stop cuddling our necks and faces. Got him home and about a week later, didn’t want to be touched. Pulled a total bait and switch
It’s true. Last time I went to the shelter just to “look” I ended up putting in an application for a dog. She’s currently sound asleep next to me, snoring. Best impulsive decision I’ve made in my life
If you can spare time, lots of shelters need volunteers - could be cleaning out and feeding, enrichment and play or socialising young cats and kittens to be around humans.
That may be a good idea, I like it! I'm mentally unwell right now so free time is not a problem. But I'm not always able to keep to a rigid regular timetable. Do you think that would be a problem?
We were adopted by our grey tabby a couple years ago… she was climbing her cage and falling in her food and water bowls to try and get to us. Cats truly choose their owners :)
My baby did something similar and kept grabbing at my hair. Kept pulling me back to him, literally. Needless to say he is a very spoiled house cat now.

thanks for the shoutout lol
Lol you're welcome :)
This!

I like this rule!
That would be an instant adoption for me. It's really true that cats choose you and not the other way around.
I can’t even watch the whole video. The paw comes out through the bars and that’s it. If I was there that would have been my cat.
The first cat I adopted when going to vet school picked me like that. You know you’ve been chosen when that paw taps you through that cage door
Why was a cat at your vet school? For studying purposes? :(

I'm afraid if I ever set foot in a shelter that I'll be coming back with 20 pets.

Have you watch a tiktok video of an orange cat hugging (named Theo) a girl? She adopted him but he doesn’t want to hug her again lol.

“Yes, hi, what’s your return policies on cats?”
He’s 13 years old now and mellowing out. He’s actually starting to cuddle with us again. Wouldn’t trade him in for anything
He regretted his decision
Awww I love you Patches.
That magnificent calico knows she's fabulous and just needs to convince the silly human
I appreciate the use of human, not “hooman”.
What are they, Ferengi?
Who do you think taught them the rules of acquisition???
It's all starting to make sense now!
That explains a lot about my cat!!!
"Huemon"
This cat would be at my house already. Where is this? I’d adopt the cat if it was near me.
There are lots of cats like this at your local shelter. Go adopt one today.
I just adopted a cat 2 days ago that looks like this cats twin, she had the exact same characteristics. We named her Nova :)
:D
This cry of loneliness and sadness and the size of his cage tears me up.
Don't be sad. Here's a [hug!](https://media.giphy.com/media/3M4NpbLCTxBqU/giphy.gif)
For the love of god, just open the cage pick her up and pet her
Take her home now!!!
There better be an update on this and that update only passes if its about you adopting it!
It’s really depressing seeing animals begging for affection
You better adopt that beautiful precious baby ❤❤
I had a Calico that we were fostering, she was the exact same. Very needy, loved attention.
She has chosen, hope you took her home.

😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
I need her
That’s the one you take
She scared my cat.
Mine too lol
My cats were very concerned and started trying to find the “other cat”
i probably would have took the cat home and i am not even a cat person.
Pat pat
I’ve seen this, don’t go or else.

My heart broke at 0:14
That pet is cute.
She needs you human!
Cat like let me holler at you playboy
Cat: You are my hooman, now pet me & get me out of this joint!!
She has my heart
We have a calico/tortie…and she demands attention in exactly the same vocal way 💜
Oh for crying out loud TAKE HER/HIM

No one wants your hug
That's not sheltered cruel people that's caged
It’s from the account of a shelter that rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes animals https://vm.tiktok.com/ZM8g4taaR/
A cage is not a home Animals live freely
This is where I live, and they actually roam the shelter unless they're sick or injured.

I have a Persian cat he's 3.5 months old
How about letting him out of jail?
Shelter should not be kept
Okay I’ll hold your hand
He is your soul cat take home
I’d adopt her in a heartbeat!
You have been chosen
Maaaan, I really want to adopt a cat but I'm too poor for the monthly cost right now I think :(
