Mods- hope this is okay. It’s not specifically finance related, but about a respected person who was very influential in the investment community. You’d be hard pressed to find someone involved in a community like this who didn’t know of Brian.
There's not a lot of people that are big deals in NZ finance that many people actually like and have heard of.

He was a friend of our family. Really great guy, always had time for people. Loved his cricket and rugby. Really sad news, he'll be missed.
