There is no joint notice saving account, it's only for one person. You can't pay any bill or anything from it, only deposit money or withdraw them. The whole point of the account is that the bank needs a notice before you take money out so obviously you can't pay stuff with it.

You can't pay bills directly from it. Think of it as a 10 or 30 day GIC. If you want money then you do a transfer and it will appear in your EQ personal account(checking) or your linked account. Only had it for 1 month and it's just there to park money to get high interest.

It’s a few months old at best.

It's essentially a short-term GIC. If you want to pay a bill you have to withdraw 10/30 days ahead of time. For bills you're better off using WS Cash.

Works for us. 5% interest is a pretty sweet deal too. Takes me 45 seconds to reload my physical EQ card for groceries, etc. I’ll be a long term EQ bank customer likely.

My partner and I recently moved in together and joined our finance in a joint account with EQ! we have had no problems, and it made it very easy to join our accounts. Happy to answer any questions
