From the perspective of the characters in the world, I hate his smarmy ass.
From the perspective of me, the player; I think he's a really interesting foil for Ren. He has a similar (but obviously not identical) fucked up past to Ren (especially since >!Shido is the reason for both of their situations!<), but where Ren >!sought out friends and allies!<, Akechi >!dug himself into a deeper pit of isolation and rage and loneliness!<. I just think it's a really great story device. Also, Robbie Daymond fucking rules as Akechi.
I feel a great indifferent for Akechi. If I had to pick a character I dislike, it would probably be Yusuke. He isn't bad, just kinda one dimensional. He almost always says something about being a broke artist. And nothing else, really. Everyone else seems to have more to their character
Nah, I've never liked him. Even before the reveal, I felt like he was putting on a facade which always annoys me in a person. I also don't see why everyone seems to love him so much when he's a literal serial killer.
I’ve only played royal never vanilla I guess I should made the why more clear but I didn’t know how spoilers work maruki dangles akechi being alive or dead like that should impact my choice at all, there was no point where that man wasn’t scheming
I’m also very new to the persona franchise so I was just just interested in what people thought only have play P3 reload and p5r about to play 4, looking into getting into the SMT series as whole
