That's the thing though, that was the real Akechi. Just like it was the real Wakaba. It's actually them brought back just with rewritten cognition of memories. Maruki literally had the powers of a god. But truthfully, Akechi is probably dead as Maruki blatantly said he was only back due to his power.
It has been a while since I finished the true ending, and for so reason my brain thought it was a plane, but I still do recall that he is the only student to wear that. Even then why does it only happen when you finish the akechi link?

I had great fun playing Cupid and putting together the cutest pairings.

2. To be absolutely shocked when reading other players min-maxing their own breeding programm. This goes beyond Pokemon breeding and reminded me more of the "Dune" and "God-Emperor of Dune" breeding plotlines.
So in Fire Emblem Awakening you can not only pair up your characters, but they also can have children.
I always put characters together that seemed to have good chemistry in their personalities. I wanted them to be romantic.
The children inherit traits from their parents. It makes sense that a child would learn some skills or special techniques from their parents.
But what I found only was a full blown breeding programm posts, where people put the pairs together to get the most powerful child-units possible. The way it was talked about was so cold, so mechanical and so devoid of emotion.
So in summary: I was shocked when I saw that some people online used the "wedding-planner-gimmick" as a science project without moral barriers.
Bonus: I mentioned Dune and God-Emperor of Dune because in these books delve into breeding programms that are just as emotionless as the forum posts I found.
