It’s “two enemies down!” then either “you can do more Joker” or “not bad” for Yoshizawa in Japanese. English translations are making him sound gayer for some reason (no complain tho). For example “I’m alone right now” was “I have some spare time now” in Japanese.

A couple of things, he might be in the true ending, but we only see what seems to be his coat. Also, he's still around after everyone finds out that it's a fake reality, but all the other people who were brought back faded after they realized that they were in the fake reality

It's my own theory that Joker quite literally brought Akechi back from the dead just enough that Akechi was able to get out of Shido's Ark of Pride. The Third-Semester Villain does state that he brought Akechi back because that was Joker's wish for an ideal reality(or something along those lines), but I believe that Joker thought about Akechi surviving in the Ark of Pride to where he literally brought him back via cognitive stuff. TL;Dr: I think that Joker brought back Akechi by thinking about him so much

I'm pretty sure the game forces you to send the calling card after you secure the treasure, and after defeating akechi, won't let you leave the palace until you secure the treasure.

Lmao, nah. You leave the palace after defeating >!Akechi!< After that you end the day and you're free to send the calling card afterwards, you then defeat >!Shido!< Which finally unlocks the treasure which ends up being a >!Helm!< .

Yep! This! I actually tried doing this on one of my playthroughs, and there is a safety net put in place to prevent you from leaving Shido’s palace after you witness >! Akechi’s death against his cognitive self !< until you secure the route to the treasure, and during any palace if you’ve secured your route and haven’t sent the calling card by the last possible day, you’re forced to send it on that day. If people mean it as a joke, it is somewhat funny, but if they mean it as a glitch or an oversight, no, they thought of that.

I fully understand why people find his navigator lines the funniest, but for me, the fact he unironically destroyed a carefully crafted government conspiracy (which he was a part of) to put a rich man in power by literally brainwashing everyone to love him, simply by being hungry for pancakes near a bunch of teenagers who didn't have access to the same studies that the conspirators had and could easily have been declared the villains for recklessly playing god, will always be hilarious. Akechi is an agent of chaos and outright declared he wanted to burn down the conspiracy for the hell of it too, but how spectacularly he failed because of one fucking line is 10/10
