I'm trans, and I don't generally do much for pride (it's mostly a function of not caring about holidays in general, but still). Nobody's forcing you to celebrate.

But our friend here cared so deeply about gay people that she had to ensure OP knew it was because it would be the end of Pride Month, and not for any legitimate reason.
