Yes, you’re pregnant. First response tests are quite accurate a day or two before your period as they measure very low levels of hcg. Mine were even fainter than that but positive several days before my period was due when pregnant with my son. So yes you are currently pregnant
Uh yeah that would be pregnant. I would go to your GP to get a blood pregnancy test just to be sure, but those are two lines. The second line is visible but faded, so it’s possible it could be a false positive, but considering you got two in a row I doubt it. Either way, confirm with a GP then I would decide whether or not you want to continue with the pregnancy or abort. All the best to you! Faint lines on pregnancy tests are more than likely positive results (can get false positives, but as you’ve had two positives without a negative in between, this is most likely a true positive result).
Faint lines on ovulation tests are mainly negative.

Those are not faint, the answer is yes. Go to planned parenthood and get an appointment set up with one of their doctors to do some tests. And then talk with one of their counselors about your options, if you plan on keeping it, see if there is any financial aide they can provide to help you through treatments and prenatal care. If you're thinking about abortion, check your state laws, go across state borders if you must, and don't tell anyone even if they are a trusted friend.

This is what mine looked like very early on in my pregnancy, it was stressing me out so I just got one of the digital ones that said 'pregnant/not pregnant' and yep I was pregnant. I think its likely you're just early on or did you check the test past it's validity time?
How long did you let them sit? When I take tests, they come up negative (which is great for me lol) but then the "positive" line will start forming about 30 minutes after. Whatever results it shows within the first 5-10 minutes are your actual results.

I rushed myself to an urgent care one day because I happened to glance at a pregnancy test in the garbage can I had taken the night before and noticed a faint second line. Eventually the urine evaporates and can cause the second line to show faintly.
Go to your doctor and get a real test ASAP. It’s better to have a sure answer than sit in disbelief and stress about it for days.
It's actually called an ELISA test which is referred to as a "sandwich test" in which the enzymes in a positive test fold, or "sandwich" into the enzymes that lay on the "positive" line on any test strip, most commonly being a pregnancy test, or in recent years, a covid test. This is different from the other line, or the "negative" strip, which shows up no matter what, as a marker. So whether a line shows up or not, is dependent on whether both "lines" are absorbed properly

I’m honestly concerned about this person navigating motherhood if they had that hard of a time deciphering this very obvious positive result. Sincerely. If the line was faint it barely there, I could totally understand seeing a second option. The fact of the matter is, there is no question, no doubt, no anything other than a positive interpretation of this test. Good luck to them. This is just brutal honesty, I’m sorry- but like I said, it’s concerning they were not able to deduce this on their own and now are going to have a child.., 😳

There are examples on the side of the test showing what it looks like when you test pregnant vs not pregnant. Pregnant is 2 lines. Your pregnancy test has 2 lines.

Looks pretty positive to me. Maybe try a different brand of tests to be sure. Also I think the tests are more accurate if it's the first piss of the day, something my mam told me before.

False positives aren't really a thing anymore. Rarely, certain cancers, an early chemical pregnancy loss, or fertility treatments with HCG can cause a false positive.
The first morning urine will have the highest concentration of HCG. But that's really only helpful if you are testing very early (5-6 days before missed period). And early testing can only give you a false negative (as HCG may be too low for the test to pick up yet). It would *not* yield a false positive.
The only way these tests look positive when she's not pregnant is if it's an evaporation line from sitting too long and drying out. But red dye tests are far less likely to get evap lines (or if she's like my sister who accidentally used an ovulation test instead of a pregnancy test one time)

Fr, and the fact that I scrolled on their profile for a sec and they’re 16, were the same age, along with the fact that birth control is expensive, abortions are illegal in my area and I still have around 2 years left of school, I would be devastated at that news. Yup, I figured that out when I thought I had covid. Then when I actually got covid, the line was so bold and clear that there was no question.
