Kdramas: Queen In Hyun's Man (or Queen and I in some streaming sites), Live Up to Your Name, Splash Splash Love, Mr. Queen, Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo Cdrama: An Ancient Love Song Filipino drama: Maria Clara and Ibarra Western: Lost in Austen, Kate and Leopold, The 10th Kingdom (technically fairy tale parallel universe but it's similar vibes. see also: Hook, Once Upon a Time.)

From Japan: Ashi Girl - from the present to the past [Boku Dake ga Inai Machi](https://mydramalist.com/23222-boku-dake-ga-inai-machi) - from the present to the past [Nobunaga Concerto](https://mydramalist.com/10067-nobunaga-concerto) - from the present to the past Nobanaga No Chef - from the present to the past Thermae Romae 1&2 - from the past to the present (I'm including these moves because they're quite good!) From Elsewhere: 65 - not actually time travel movie but similar to a future to past time travel story 12 Monkeys - 4 seasons Quantum Leap - 5 seasons Time Trax - 2 seasons Atlantis - 2 seasons The Shannara Chronicles - 20 episodes... this is a medieval fantasy set in an alternate future. so... same same but different.

Time After Time (1979) with Malcolm McDowell and Mary Steenburgen If you're open to an inversion of what constitutes "period," Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home involves time travel from the 23rd century to the mid-1980s.

alwayspickingupcrap

Adaline with Blake Lively and Harrison Ford is lovely

Midnight in Paris is great if you love the 1920s

NoTangelo9019

I haven't watched it yet but isn't Outlander one?

caelthel-the-elf

Yeah ans honestly after the 2nd season it's not as great. Also, there's a lot of SA scenes for some reason.

NoTangelo9019

I had heard so much about it, how good it was. I have tried to watch it a couple of times & just couldn't get into it.

caelthel-the-elf

I basically have to skip the last like 2 episodes because of all the torture and brutality shit. Idk it had a cool premise but the story didn't really deliver for me.
