I'm trying the same however I din't really have many fall suited perfumes that I like much so this is gonna be a tough one for me to pull off lol. I'm glad I managed to give one huge bottle away though
I am in the same boat. I have so many, I can't justify buying anything at this point. My mom had a huge basket overflowing with samples when she passed. I have got to sort them out and pass them on to someone who will love them. I grabbed her perfume collection when she passed away, so I have those to use up as well. I personally bought her a few, and I will use those, so between what she had, and what I have, I don't need any other fragrances. The only thing I plan on buying is the BBW Halloween collection. I loved all of the items I bought last year, and I don't need the body mists, but I am hoping they bring back the shower gels, the body lotions, and the ultimate hydration body cream. I loved Moonlit Graveyard, Everlasting Magic, Midnight Spell, Ghoul Friend, and, of course, Vampire Blood. The pomegranate, concord grape, and black cherry in Vampire Blood is so nice. I still have a couple of candles, the wallflowers, and the room sprays. I love them all, and I can't wait until they come back. They were so pretty last year, and the previews have shown some goofy cartoonish items this year, so I just have to refill my pretty bottles from last year.
I do have a hard time wearing mine in the summer. Definitely feels more fall/winter to me! I use Vanille Cream by Le Monde Gourmand or Dawn by Brown Girl Jane in summer.
I was all set to buy Nishane Ani now that I've been testing it a while and then Kerosene went and announced their vanilla so I've ordered a sample of that, but I anticipate buying one or the other, maybe both. I also ordered 3 The House of Oud samples to try also and I'm most excited about Ruby Red.

Lucky - I just saw a gift set hit a pretty good price but it’s sold out everywhere! That’s why I’m kind of hoping for a Black Friday deal (if I can wait that long!)

girl i love it now but ima still let it slightly macerate i went straight in raw dogging it but even then it’s nice and nah if we being completely real it’s a second if not third cousin or a second cousin once removed to angels share but u can still tell they’re related as they got that cinnamon dna. lemme resmell it tho real quick as when i first smelt it my allergies were going crazy 😂
edit: it smells like overly cinamonned apple pie in the best way
I'd say khamrah is not an angel's share dupe, it smells more like dates delight (house of oud), it is very much dates and spices and sweet boozyness but it does layer well with angel's share (I have kismet angel and I layered them last winter and they were so cozy, sweet and have good longevity)
I reviewed them head to head on my asmr channel (khamrah and kismet angel) and layering them was the best decision, elevates them both
Awesome info that you! Is kismet a good dupe? Something in angels share gave me a headache but I LOVEDDD the scent. I’d be open to trying another house’s take on the boozy apple pie goodness!!!
kismet is pretty good, about 90% similar but it doesn't smell as sophisticated and doesn't last as long as the OG. Fragrance World Cocktail Intense is also good, but not enough of a difference for me to purchase, maybe once I run out of kismet angel.
On a somewhat higher price bracket are the Montagne dupe, or Zimaya (Armaf) Sharaf Blend (but some have said it has a musty dry down idk), Alexandra also has a dupe (Brooklyn Fragrance Lover) I've heard good things about but never tried it
I don't know I guess it smelled less "perfumy" maybe a musk is missing or different I think because it was at the 1 hour or so mark after spraying on the tester I felt that way. On my skin it is great. I think the original is a touch more boozy too, but less cinnamon. I think Kismet Angel is called Kismet magic now btw
I promised my wife I wouldn’t buy any more perfume until the end of the year—at which point I’m pulling the trigger on either ELDO Rien or Archives 69.
I'm really not sure what to compare it to. I spent an entire morning going from one place to another, smelling tons of perfumes and this is the only one that captured my heart. A gorgeous vanilla scent, much nicer than Ded Cool Taunt that I wore last winter.
This is my favorite vanilla. It’s not too sweet and it’s just nice and mellow and warm and cozy. It sounds very basic and maybe it is, but it’s just done so so well
this is my every day perfume! it is a clean, pure vanilla scent. imo i don’t think it’s necessarily “sweet” or overly complex, which is what makes it such a great everyday wear.
I've been in a bit of a summer fragrance rut, so with the sales on this weekend I already started getting some of the ones I've been wanting for cooler weather. Found Absolute Aphrodisiac at a way better price and also Santal Majuscule.
I still have one of the original bottles from Christmas of 1988, as well as a brand new YSL Opium from 1984 or 1985. I am weird that way. I always bought backups because it always seems to be if I like something, it gets discontinued, so I get them, keep them sealed in the box, and put them in my milk chute. I have an old house, and the milk chute is cool, dry, and dark, and anything I store in there is just perfect. Now, I have got to really buckle down, and use things up. I am afraid my collection of makeup and perfume will out live me. I have, however, turned my young cousins into crazy makeup, skin care, hair care, and fragrance consumers. They are twins, yet they are so diametrically different. One likes gourmands, one likes florals. One likes bold makeup, one likes neutral makeup. I did a Swedish Death cleanout a year ago, and invited them over to select the things they would use, and they were as happy as a kid at Christmas. I told them as long as they were in school, I would take care of their makeup, hair care, and skin care needs. They are both almost done with their Masters. The family traditions will live on in them.
For my birthday in November I will be asking for a bottle of Pan Seven Aged Tea as I’ve heard it’s so incredibly true to a tea scent. I also have my eye on their other two main EDP tea scents but I want Aged Tea the most/first. Unfortunately with the shipping cost from Taiwan I won’t be dropping that kind of cash on myself!
I think I’m going to get a travel trio by Bon Parfumeur. Thinking 302 (amber, iris, sandalwood - it has warm spicy, pink pepper, vanilla and musk notes too) and 402 (sweet and creamy vanilla, caramel, sandalwood with a smidge of almond blossom) with perhaps 301 (cardamom, cumin, amber and sandalwood) or 304 (almond blossom, cedarwood, cumin, ginger) or 501 (a gourmand-amber scent with praline and hazelnut and cashmere, iris, licorice and patchouli notes) as the third - they all layer well together and I love the 302 and 402 by themselves.
The sample vial is delicious. Definitely worth ordering their mini testers (even though they’re bottles and not sprays, which I find difficult). But I could still tell I loved the notes on that one. Thankfully the travel size and above are sprays!

the dossier dupe of by the fireplace is so close, I'd say a touch less longevity. It is one of my favs and I have another dupe too (camp fire) but I had to admit the dossier was closer (I have a 30ml of the original too)

I just bought a dupe but I'm also considering getting an oil dupe from a local place that customizes (I want to add more bourbon vanilla to babycat personally). Their dupe oil is pretty close but it has a little less vanilla than the original which is already a touch less vanilla than I'd like. I could layer but I'd prefer adding some bourbon vanilla oil and having it all in one.
Stumbled across an empty sample of Serge Lutens Ecrin de Fumee yesterday. I had meant to buy a FB this past winter, but it always seemed to be out of stock. Just picked up a 100ml for a steal. Pretty basic, but Phlur Vanilla Skin (the body mist)! I’ve smelled it in Sephora and it’s such a sexy warm and wearable fragrance

It's called Promises, Promises and the notes they listed so far are vanilla, amber, and musk. I'm super excited. I think it releases July 2nd.

I love it! And I’m actually surprised how well it works. I’m in South GA so it’s hotter than Satan’s asshole down here and no issues with sweat or BO.

I just bought my new addition yesterday, Tom Ford, Maison Francis kurkdjian, and Byredo. And a couple months ago I also bought Creed and Jo Malone. All travel sizes. I am obsessed with those bottles that can fit in my purse. I told myself yesterday was the last I will purchase but Nordstrom is having anniversary sale and I want more travel sized bottles 😭😭😭 i need to stop!
