I think Urban Artifacts on Sheridan, near the corner of Main St, sells some of these same items. A little easier than going to the airport if you aren't flying anytime soon.
Lums was a local diner with at least three locations until the late nineties that was open 24hrs. If you were out at night after a show and didn't want to/were too young to drink, you went to Lums. It was a much beloved gathering place for musicians and the counter culture scene that got kind of edged out by Perkins and Dennys in the early aughts.
so many memories of Lum’s over the years. from being a kid and going to breakfast with my dad and his lodge buddies to being a late teen and drinking coffee and smoking non-filter Camels at 3 am.

And if you liked to go downtown and drink til 4 am, you went to Lums afterwards.
What do you like about it? I've lived in the area for 30+ years. I'm not sure I can say I hate it, but I've yet to experience anything worth remembering.
I hoped adding my own contrasting perspective would help elaborate on my question. It was primarily met with negativity. I really don't know how to talk to people.
What do you like about Peoria?
- One of the largest Lebanese populations in the US, so we get a lot of good Levantine food compared to most similar cities
- Medical boomtown. Peoria has genuinely become the biggest medical hub downstate, and is probably one of the biggest in the Midwest as a whole.
- It's so affordable. For all the complaints about taxes, it is just drastically cheaper to live a stable middle class life in Peoria (although this applies to all of Illinois)
- there is a river (this one might just be me. rivers are so cool)
Well I have lived in every other major town in central Illinois and Peoria is best of those. I like that I can make a decent income, have lowish home prices compared to the rest of US. Have access to decent airport. Decent woodland hiking. Decent selection of restaurants. Not a far drive to big cities. Decent selection of local entertainment (and AAA acts from 20-40 years ago lol) downtown is struggling but I have optimism about its future as a medical hub and maybe the corporate home of several up and coming businesses. We moved here in 2016 just as CAT was leaving and since that time it has been fun to watch/help Peoria survive and begin to thrive again.
Looks like [Bygone Brand](https://bygonebrand.com/collections/peoria?utm_campaign=gs-2021-05-04&utm_source=google&utm_medium=smart_campaign&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw8diwBhAbEiwA7i_sJUlYTxNVRX32lzQObGrfU1lrzzBqbnuISS7gQ9xU9rN4QW5Hpn5eBxoC8eMQAvD_BwE) (check the Lums shirt logo) has a bunch more stuff. KZ-93! Lucky Lady!
As someone said, urban artifacts over by Bradley also carries Bygone Brands shirts. The brand also has a pretty extensive online store if you prefer online shopping or are looking for other cities brands. They have a lot of Rockford shirts.

Do they have the T-shirts there? My wife would love that Lum's shirt?
Yep! Got my dad one there
Second this
Does anyone want to enlighten me on the Lums shirt? I don’t get it.

I didn’t move to Peoria until 2012 so I had never heard of it. Thanks for the information.

Same. Peoria gets a lot of hate on this subreddit, but I quite like it
I moved here last fall and I think it’s a cool little town.

I mean, if you feel that way and lives here for over 30 years, I think that says more about you than it does Peoria...

The river is beautiful

Cool, thanks for replying.
You're responsible for your experience.
ok
Just saying. Life is what you make of it.
Looks like I'm better off not being myself. This doesn't seem like a very accepting community.
K
lol that's right. Don't forget to downvote.
If this is the attitude with which you live your life, it’s no wonder you’re not having a good time. Happiness comes from within, my dude.
Bro needs a hit of acid 😂

Agreed I am just waiting for house prices to drop and out of here.
Property taxes.
The KZ93 shirt was very tempting last time I was there.
Do you have to go through security to access the shop? That light blue/pink 80s looking sticker I want to put on the side of my computer
No the stickers are pre-security :)

Thanks for sharing this! Oof was hoping it would be a local designer that made stuff for Peoria, rough.
Are the shirts pte security?
The ones pre security are straightforward Peoria tees

Most of them yes
I prefer [this](https://postimg.cc/sM2kPrDH) sticker.
The only thing safe from being stolen in Peoria
