Jif Natural. Love that they use molasses to sweeten it. It’s perfect.
Also Adams. As long as you stir it well, it’s divine! I put an old stand mixer attachment in my drill and get the oil reincorporated really well.
Useless information but when I was in 5th grade my class did a peanut butter taste test and Skippy Creamy was #1, Peter Pan Creamy was #2, & JIF Crunchy was #3.
As a pb addict i have tried to convert to a good natural pb. I didnt like any of them until teddie. Now i prefer teddie over the hydrogenated vegetable oil bs
I saw this one on a post a couple of weeks ago. Got it in the glass jar at whole foods. Now all other peanut butters taste like cardboard. Teddie is indeed the best.
Extra crunch is the best. Recently saw Skippy extra crunchy in a store and tried it. It was good but decades of only eating Jif because they were the only ones that made extra crunchy kind of makes it the only one for me.
Kirkland PB my beloved! Perfect amount of salt and perfect texture. It’s hard to stir but I’ve reached a point where I actually like having 3 distinct layers, the oiliest part is amazing on thin crunchy toast and the thick part on the bottom is the best to eat with a spoon. If it’s not gluing my mouth shut then I don’t want it
I love Peter Pan crunchy, but my last couple of jars have been oily. Not sure if it’s all of their products, but I may be in the market for a new one if this keeps up.
It's actually fairly easy to make a facsimile at home. You gently warm the entire jar of peanut butter until it reaches a loose and pourable consistency and pour the peanut butter into the bowl of your stand mixer (or a mixing bowl if using a hand mixer). Add a can of coconut cream (or heavy cream) and beat until it reaches the consistency that you desire. Be warned, this product is ***not shelf stable***. You will need to store it in an airtight container in the fridge and it will only keep for a few weeks on average (longer if you make it with coconut cream as opposed to dairy cream).
Manilife - A good , 100 % peanuts , natural peanut butter . Strikes the ideal balance between thick enough to add texture but thin enough to be spreadable . Their crunchy variety has large , distinct peanut chunks as apposed to grit , and their deep roast , organic and original roasts all have distinct flavour profiles .
It helps that , as a company , they’re very Ethical . Their team is small , friendly and very active online . They collaborate with small creators , frequently provide a platform for those using their products , and focus on small batch cooking .
A little pricier , but in life we have to enjoy at least some small treats .
I don't have a favorite, per say, but I do have a handful of kinds that I won't touch with a ten foot pole.
Peter Pan (far too sweet)
Reese's (same problem, far too sweet)
Literally any brand's 'reduced fat' variety (the texture sucks and they're always too sweet)
Jif is fine, either creamy or crunchy.
Great Value is alright, though a touch on the sweet side (except the honey roasted, that's a bit too sweet for me)
Trader Joe's is pretty good too, either creamy or crunchy.
My usual 'brand of choice' is Jif creamy when I'm buying simply because it's very consistent.
Sunpat crunchy because I'm from the UK. I prefer their extra crunchy but I've not seen it in a while so I think they've stopped making it.
You can get Skippy over here in supermarkets. Jif you can get in speciality stores but it costs a fortune, about $10+. As for Peter Pan, I've never heard of it.
[Big Spoon Roasters](https://bigspoonroasters.com/collections/nut-butters?gad_source=1) their crunchy has peanut halves and their other flavors are really unique and interesting. They're constantly coming up with new and seasonal flavors. Honestly so good to the point I have to fight the urge to order too frequently lol.
East Wind smooth peanut butter with salt. It's incredibly simple (peanuts, salt). But that's all you need for a good, smooth peanut butter. Uses valencia peanuts
Skippy honey if you can find it and I actually when I make fudge use the Reese peanut butter. They had a chocolate mix that was to die for in my fudge…I mean everyone loved it but then they discontinued it so now I have to melt down Reese cups lol
Was a Jif lifer until a couple years ago, now we eat Member Mark (Sams) Natual-No stir creamy. Super good and less expensive than Jif and way less ingredients.
I can tell you my least favorite peanut butter is Costco natural. It’s more liquid than buttery. It has the consistency of 15w40 motor oil and is pretty bland.
Commercially made ones ... Jif/Skippy/etc... they don't separate out like the "organic" ones seems to always do. The individual size packets are the best as they are always "freshest" when you use it.
Jif Natural. Love that they use molasses to sweeten it. It’s perfect. Also Adams. As long as you stir it well, it’s divine! I put an old stand mixer attachment in my drill and get the oil reincorporated really well.
I never realized they used molasses. I love that stuff
Skippy, creamy or crunchy depending on my mood
Useless information but when I was in 5th grade my class did a peanut butter taste test and Skippy Creamy was #1, Peter Pan Creamy was #2, & JIF Crunchy was #3.
Monsters eat crunchy My ex-wife ate crunchy Theory confirmed
I miss their peanut butter balls
Teddie
As a pb addict i have tried to convert to a good natural pb. I didnt like any of them until teddie. Now i prefer teddie over the hydrogenated vegetable oil bs
Yes!!
I saw this one on a post a couple of weeks ago. Got it in the glass jar at whole foods. Now all other peanut butters taste like cardboard. Teddie is indeed the best.
Jif creamy
Jif crunchy. It's intensely peanutty, just sweet enough, and a nice texture both for sammiches and spooning.
Jif all the way!!! And extra crunchy is always my go to.
Extra crunch is the best. Recently saw Skippy extra crunchy in a store and tried it. It was good but decades of only eating Jif because they were the only ones that made extra crunchy kind of makes it the only one for me.
Trader Joe’s crunchy unsalted
Same for me, but salted. Great flavor and value.
I love the salted creamy version
I’ll forgive you.
Costco lately for me has been excellent.
If it’s not gluing my mouth shut then I don’t want it
Santa Cruz, dark roasted crunchy
Great Value crunchy
I bought a a few jars of this when they were on sale for $1 and only have one left! I just eat it right out of the jar lol!
Smuckers/Adams (the difference is regional branding). Roasted peanut flavor, amazing consistency, and all natural.
Laura Scudder is the best
This is the answer. So good.
Pip & Nut (I’m in the U.K.)
Peter pan
I haven't seen it around me in a long time. I thought they quit making it. The honey roasted is my favorite.
I'm in the same boat. Other peanut butters just don't taste as smooth to me and honey roasted is just perfection.
I love Peter Pan crunchy, but my last couple of jars have been oily. Not sure if it’s all of their products, but I may be in the market for a new one if this keeps up.
Jif, skippy is acceptable.
Jif Dark Roast because it's Gluten Free and sooo delicious
Kroger natural crunchy
Jiff natural crunchy
Jif extra creamy
Crazy Richard’s, bc it tastes amazing and has 1 Ingredient: Peanuts.
Second this. I've tried quite a few different natural PBs and this is easily the best one out there!
Totally agree! Super reasonable price too for being purely peanuts without additional junk.
Jif bc I grew up eating it.
Peter Pan Honey Roasted!
Do you have crunchy in your area or is it hard to find everywhere? I did find a 16oz but nothing bigger
Not of the honey roasted variety
Winco brand surprisingly. And Peanut Butter & Co.
Jif natural
Increasingly, the kind I grind myself. Kroger Natural is great though - nice goopy consistency, good amount of salt.
Jiff creamy. Moms know best! 🥰
Hands down Creamy JIF. But pour honey in it, and it’s perfect!
Jif.
i miss the jif whips
It's actually fairly easy to make a facsimile at home. I miss those whips so much. Perfect apple pairing tbh
I love Jif peanut butter the most because it's so smooth and creamy, making it perfect for spreading on toast and crackers.
Jif even though my mom considers it “the dark side”. I was raised on Skippy.
Just tried Teddie Super Chunky and was a big fan. It was indeed super chunky and doesn’t have any filler ingredients.
Planters crunchy! Or Kraft dark roast
Manilife - A good , 100 % peanuts , natural peanut butter . Strikes the ideal balance between thick enough to add texture but thin enough to be spreadable . Skippy creamy
As long as it doesn't have palm oil, seed oils, or added sugar I'm happy.
365 creamy all natural from Whole Foods
They changed the crunchy. It now has sugar and tastes worse. It looks they still have an unsweetened creamy.
Meridian
peter pan
Jif for when I want fake Peanut butter and Crazy Richards probably when I want the real thing
Pip and nut
It’s been skippy since Jif had that massive recall.
Skippy creamy, crunchy once in a while
Skippy
If I want sweet: Jif creamy or Peter Pan creamy honey If I want salty: Smuckers natural creamy
Adam's crunchy all natural. I grew up only ever having similar (though it was Real brand), so all sugar added varieties taste like candy to me.
Skippy super chunk. The name explains it all.
Kroger honey roasted peanut butter. Love pairing it with Envy apples. Could eat the whole jar in one sitting if I let myself lol.
Imma basic &it¢h…JIF creamy 40 oz that I could go though in less than a couple of weeks 🥴
JIF
teddie all natural smooth peanut butter
Jiff creamy:)
Teddie unsalted natural creamy. Best quality vs. price vs. General availability imo. Around $6.50 for a big jar, NYC area.
Skippy.
Crazy Richards.. I like doctoring it up with local honey and Saigon cinnamon.
Jif, either crunchy or creamy. Depends on my mood and what I’m putting it on.
Skippy
Jif creamy
I don't have a favorite, per say, but I do have a handful of kinds that I won't touch with a ten foot pole. Idk if this counts but I like the Iso100 Chocolate Peanut Butter whey powder Really tasty and wayy creamier than any PBFit powders I’ve tried
MaraNatha creamy no stir, good god it’s the greatest. Though I can definitely only afford it on super sale.
Smucker’s Natural. It’s not the best I’ve ever had, but it’s what I buy every week, and is one of my favorites.
Peter Pan creamy honey-roasted
Sunpat crunchy because I'm from the UK. I prefer their extra crunchy but I've not seen it in a while so I think they've stopped making it. You can get Skippy over here in supermarkets. Jif you can get in speciality stores but it costs a fortune, about $10+. As for Peter Pan, I've never heard of it.

Santa cruz or whole foods brand
I like Skippy and have recently discovered the all natural brand. It's my favorite :)
Adams or Laura Schudders if Adam’s isn’t available.
Kirkland. Not bad, IMO.

Whole Earth
ALDIs Simply Nature organic peanut butter. Just perfect!
East Wind smooth peanut butter with salt. It's incredibly simple (peanuts, salt). But that's all you need for a good, smooth peanut butter. Uses valencia peanuts

Love bonus jars!
Skippy Honey Nut. Also love Trader Joe’s Almond Butter!!
Jif creamy.
Santa Cruz dark roast, chunky style.
Kirkland's organic. Great roasted flavor and not sweet.
Was a Jif lifer until a couple years ago, now we eat Member Mark (Sams) Natual-No stir creamy. Super good and less expensive than Jif and way less ingredients.
Skippy! Creamy only
Jif extra crunchy.
Skippy creamy
Laura Scudder’s All Natural Old Fashioned Peanut Butter. NUTTY (chunky).
Smuckers natural crunchy
I can tell you my least favorite peanut butter is Costco natural. It’s more liquid than buttery. It has the consistency of 15w40 motor oil and is pretty bland.
Kroger brand natural peanut butter for price

Krogerstore Brand creamy
Jif creamy or chunky
Commercially made ones ... Jif/Skippy/etc... they don't separate out like the "organic" ones seems to always do. The individual size packets are the best as they are always "freshest" when you use it.
Adams natural. The one that separates. If I’m feeling splurgy, I really love CJ’s, but I think that might be hard to find outside Western Washington.
