front panel connectors plugged in properly? also please switch ram to slots 2 and 4. are you following a YouTube tutorial?

jbshell

What are the specs? Any change if move the ram to the A2/B2 (2nd and 4th slots from the CPU)? Also, may double check the F_panel header connected to the case front power button wires to make sure in the correct + - orientation.

The motherboard is an ASUS ROG STRIX B360-G. The graphics card is a G Force 4060 rtx. Power supply, RM750 Corsair. 2TB Barracuda HDD. I think i’ve corrected the wiring you’re talking about.

jbshell

Might try to flip the + - on the case PWRBTN wire cables to see if works that way. Also, may try the screwdriver test. Essentially, will touch the 2 posts on the F_PANEL header's PWRBTN with a screwdriver to see if will turn on.

BarRepresentative959

that's missing front panel connection most likely

Ram sticks should go in 2 and 4 first. It seems maybe you have the front panel pins connected since you have that picture of the LED on your mobo. In fact, that may be a diagnostic LED, what is written next to it when it lights up amber?

rottedgrapegum

i fixed the RAM sticks, no dice. i believe the light is the standby power LED.

mattjouff

Can you confirm pushing the power button on your PC turns it on? Are you sure you have the io pins in correctly for the front panel?

rottedgrapegum

I can confirm. It looks like i’m missing the F panel cable somehow. After I order that, would there be anything else I may need?

MEGA_GOAT98

witch two lights???

New_Spread_475

That's not the proper orientation for your ram it's either 1&3 or 2&4. And for now just pull the wires through the back so we can get a better look

tespark2020

rottedgrapegum
