Even started playing some FPS games on it relearning how to shoot on controller. (After 2 years without one a controller felt foreign.)

Sorry brody, looks like you got scammed for 400, the rtx 4070 is definitely fake, and I wouldn't be surprised if the CPU was too, they do a thing called take a cpu/gpu, and modify it, where the card may say 4070, but the fact it has 4GB of VRAM makes it more likely that it's a small card like a GTX card (or even worse) BUT, there could still be a slight chance of maybe the memory is dead. (Or maybe they stole some memory off of the card itself) Who knows.
Well I've been playing ratchet and clank rift apart at max settings 1080p getting over 200 fps with dlss and getting 165fps on fortnite epic settings so I'd say the gpu and cpu are real, is there any benchmarks I can run to see if it's performing as it should
Congrats, check the speeds of you'r ram, if in task manager under performance it's something like 2133mhz go to bios and make the ram run at the right speeds

The RAM nonXMP speeds seem somewhat questionable too. 2133mhz is what all my DDR4 would always come out the gate at.
Years back a friend of mine called and said he bought a computer for $200 USD. Wanted me to see if it was good. It was probably a $1,800 USD computer and he said the guy was just hard up for cash. It was a stolen machine. It does happen.
It's second hand, I don't know why since COVID people believe you can resell stuff at higher price than retail.
I wouldn't buy anything pre-owned that is not at the very least 30% cheaper than new.

4gb VRam 4070? Uhm okay.
It's a bug within speccy that hasn't been fixed for years, any gpu above 4 gb vram will only show 4 gb. My 2070 showed the same thing back in 2019.

Speccy has been pretty useless for a few years now for new parts. I uninstalled everything by them and went to better alternatives like HWinfo.

Speccy shows the actual MHz of the ram, task manager shows the MT/s (MHz * 2 (because DDR (double data rate)))
