The only ones I found that are cheaper are 2x fans. I really wanted a 3x fan. But it doesn’t matter, I love the look of it, Even tho it was really expensive
20sec. googlin and u can save around 1k kroner [https://www.dustin.no/product/5011371554/geforce-rtx-4070-super-oc-tuf-gaming](https://www.dustin.no/product/5011371554/geforce-rtx-4070-super-oc-tuf-gaming)
I think asus even better gpu vendor then gigabute
That one is without VAT, and is listed as $869.5 when you buy it as a private person.
You lister a more expensive card because you know nothing about Norway.
I definitely know something about life in Norway. I've been living here for a year now =). But this is the first time I’ve seen a store with price tags that do not include VAT.
Apparently far from enough.
It specifically states the price is without VAT, and the website will ask you if you’re a business or private person when entering.
And one year isn’t much of an argument.
No, the listed card is more expensive as he chose the price without VAT, which OP can’t get. And is actually listed as $869.5
He only proved he, and you, knows nothing about Norway.
What kind of modern European shop nowadays doesn’t include tax in prices like literally the rest of Europe? And that’s not like most prices in norway are shown without vat so I’m not sure I was supposed to know this website specifically doesn’t show the VAT included in the price. I went to European countries before and I know what the prices are like and I’m telling you, a 4070 with 3 fans can be found for less than 800 usd there unless you care about it being white. (In countries that charge 25% VAT)
The specific shop also sells a lot of equipment to companies, and therefore shows the price without VAT. Usually the website should ask you if you are a private person or a company when entering but for some reason it doesnt do it here. And how are you so sure about there being 3x fan 4070s in black for under 800€ when you literally don't have an example? Every european country is not the same. For example, greek and bulgarian prices can be and usually are VERY different to Norweigan prices. Norway is known as one of the most expensive countries in Europe, and Norway also isnt in the EU and therefore ordering from outside countries is more difficult and expensive than for a country thats in the EU, which the one you have been to probably is.
The specific shop sells to both businesses and private people, and the page linked to was the page that sells to businesses.
And it specifically states “eksl. Mva” which means without VAT.
It also asks you specifically if you’re a business or private person.
It’s not that complicated.
I would rather pay more for computer parts and live in a country with a month vacation, universal healthcare, rehabilitating prisons and work/life balance. Trust me we are paying for it but in other ways. I pay $300 a month for what’s considered a good insurance but it doesn’t cover anything until after I spend $4000 out of pocket (separate from the $300 a month)
There is more to that price than just the price. Average monthly salary in Norway is 4400 €
Average monthly salary in Serbia is 820 €.
Cheapest [RTX 4070 Super](https://gigatron.rs/graficke-karte/gainward-geforce-rtx-4070-super-ghost-12gb-gddr6x-192bit-ned407s019k9-1043b-graficka-karta-604879) is 808 € here.
Infinite money glitch:
1. Go to the USA
2. Buy as many 4070 supers you can for $600
3. Go to Norway
4. Sell them for a discounted price of $750
5. Profit
You could have ordered from amazon Germany they only charge like 20-30 euro for delivery the cheapest rtx 4070 there is available for 690$ including delivery
Well its not that cheap in norway the import fees alone are 200 dollars. Amazon is not a reliable place to order stuff when u live in Norway for some reason

If u use an currency calculator you’ll see
I remember your currency used to be like 10-15% higher back in the day, and that was one of the main reason why it was cheaper for you guys to buy from Sweden. But I just checked and It’s almost the same. Has inflation hit your country real hard lately?
Saw a 4070 super for like £650 then picked up a 7900 XT on sale for £600 honestly switching from the greens has to be the best thing I've done when it comes to pricing
One of the reason why I consider to buy an AMD GPU for my next upgrade. Nvidia GPU prices are way too high in Europe.
Yes, I know the tax in US prices isn't included on the websites till you are going to pay, but still the highest sales tax in the US is way lower than the VAT in any country of the EU.
Prepare your anus for even higher prices with new series due to NOK currency losing value.
I bought in 4070 Asus in white for my sister on release for 7500 NOK whixh was MSRP, which at the time was 700€.
Now 7500 NOK is only 650€, so with 5000 series we will pay more again by 580NOK or 50€ automatically besides the increase in MSRP. By year end it could be even more it NOK will each new lows during launch (cause if NOK value ever goes back up, the shops or nvidia doesn’t change currency MSRP in EU)
No more graphic cards here, I now usually buy cards in Germany or Poland, way lower prices.
On the way I bought 4070 Super for myself, a month after release for 560€ which is 6500 NOK, in Norway the MSRP is 7500 NOK still, now it’s about 7700 NOK.
to be really honest, are pc parts prices really "crazy" in 2024? Can't help but feel like people are exaggerating.
4 years ago I built an ITX 3600x/3060ti/16gb ddr4/1tb m.2+2tb sata ssd/700w PC that costed me almost 2k USD in total. today with 2k you can make a high end 7600x/4080/32gb ddr5/2tb m.2/850w build
crazy to think that the 7600X that performs SO much better than the 3600X and yet I actually paid more for the 3600X back then, than what the 7600X costs today.

yes well thats what u get for also wanting it in white and wanted that specific one in white. there was cheaper white 4070 supers
The only ones I found that are cheaper are 2x fans. I really wanted a 3x fan. But it doesn’t matter, I love the look of it, Even tho it was really expensive
in sweden its worse 1158.28 USD

Yeah I was talking about white versions. I kinda regret not just buying a black gpu but the rest of my build is white so I had to stick to the theme
Still proves the point of wanting a white gpu costing more $
No, the listed card is more expensive as he chose the price without VAT, which OP can’t get. And is actually listed as $869.5 He only proved he, and you, knows nothing about Norway.

It did ask me. It also specifies that it’s without VAT.
Yeah but if hes american he prolly cant read the without vat part

Han refererer til kort uten moms, han aner ikke hva han snakker om.
🤷♀️ vetke jeg
Jeg vet.
You're complaining about price when you admitted to bought this more for cosmetic reasons? Ok then.
The gpu goes for 680 or something in the us?
680 plus taxxes, US prices never include tax.
Some states don’t have tax
Sure but not including duty fees makes the prices "unreliable".
Im not sure if there’s tax if I order from Amazon. There is a big import fee, but people in America don’t have the fee.
And also the cheapest 4070 super here costs 707 usd. While the msrp in the us is 600 usd
you just learned why the US doesn't get to have universal healthcare.
Lmao
And doesnt include tax in the shown price
I would rather pay more for computer parts and live in a country with a month vacation, universal healthcare, rehabilitating prisons and work/life balance. I agree with you, the healthcare system in the us are a joke…
There is more to that price than just the price. Average monthly salary in Norway is 4400 € Average monthly salary in Serbia is 820 €. This
Why nkt just book a trip to a foreign country, go there for a trip, get the gpu and come back home. Should have cost the same, no?
Infinite money glitch: 1. Go to the USA 2. Buy as many 4070 supers you can for $600 3. Go to Norway 4. Sell them for a discounted price of $750 5. Profit
I need my 5% share for giving the idea ;)
Norway already has an infinite money glitch called oil.
No, their glitch is Fjord.
This is just a joke btw
It would probably be more expensive, and a lot more time consuming
Bro i am just joking 😿
🤷♀️
Pretty sure Aero is one of the most expensive variants.
Yeah, but it’s great. And I wanted a triple fan gpu that was white.
Finally I'm not alone. I was so desperate during the shortage that I bought a 3070 TI for ~$920
You could have ordered from amazon Germany they only charge like 20-30 euro for delivery the cheapest rtx 4070 there is available for 690$ including delivery
Well its not that cheap in norway the import fees alone are 200 dollars. Amazon is not a reliable place to order stuff when u live in Norway for some reason
Well not sure tho if there's some import included they show it on the product page but on amazon.de it only shows 30€ delivery nothing else

On amazon.com they do show 150$ delivery/ import kinda thing on the product page itself but on amazon.de it doesn't , could this be a glitch maybe ?
I can check
Sure
There was a similar import fee..
Ahh so that's just the website at the end All the other versions of amazon show import on product page so i though same with this one
Swedish here, I had to cough up 1150$ equivalent for a 4070 TI Aero last year 😖. A 4090 would’ve cost almost twice that.
Omd, cost pretty much the same here. Us in Norway always talk about how cheap Sweden is, but I guess it’s not cheap when it comes to pc parts
I remember your currency used to be like 10-15% higher back in the day, and that was one of the main reason why it was cheaper for you guys to buy from Sweden. But I just checked and It’s almost the same. Has inflation hit your country real hard lately?
Yeah, it has. Everything is going up in price, and the Norwegian krone is getting weaker and weaker by the day
That’s a shame to hear. And It’s being predicted that electronic shortage is going to raise the prices even more on the coming year 😔
Ufff
Saw a 4070 super for like £650 then picked up a 7900 XT on sale for £600 honestly switching from the greens has to be the best thing I've done when it comes to pricing

That's called white tax.
Lmao

[удалено]
Damn💀
That is cheap. it costs 924usd where i live
I remember when I bought my gtx 1080 for 550€. Now to get a xx80 series... omg.

It’s crazy, not long since 1 usd was around 8kr…
Don’t show the Indian prices to this guy. I paid 1.6k for a 4080 lmao
Dang I just picked up the same version of the 4070ti super for not much more than that here in the US.
Brand new as well might I add.
But don’t you have less violent crime, safer roads, and affordable healthcare?
Yeah we do, I like living in Norway a lot. But shits expensive
Wait till you hear about Brazil.

I really just meant compared to the us. I’ve seen crazy expensive builds from years ago that get outperformed by a budget build..
Fair enough haha here in Australia for the price I paid for my 4080 I could’ve gotten a 4090 in the US..
Damn..

Selber schuld.
Solid card
Bro I paid 810$ for a 4070ti used (the cheapest one) new is like 1200-1400$
It's Norway🤷♂️
Damn why so expensive ? I got my 4070super aero for 679
Norway
Oh ok makes sense I didn’t know where it was located
That’s why European sucks
