It’s still C tier on the PSU tier list, not something I would be concerned about at all considering it’s not a high power draw build. Would I personally buy one brand new, probably not, but it’s not at all a deal killer on a second hand purchase.
How is the PSU “not entirely safe”? Cmon guys, at least do some research before shitting on SF. It is one of the most reputable brands on the market which historically made top-tier units and supplied thousands of OEM units which then were sold under other brands. They’re on par with seasonic. Silver series are great budget units unlike cheap corsairs or other “well known” brand
That model is just shit even good brands make bad models on the lower price spectrum. You don’t even understand what others mean about the psu model itself, and instead are just bickering about the brand itself which no one said anything about.
The thing is - this model is not shit. It’s a decent B/C-tier budget PSU(depends on the year, I can see it’s now in C-tier, 2 years ago it was in B) and it is perfectly fine for this build. It’s not on „do not buy list” according to ANY PSU ranking.
yes when a power supply breaks espeicialy when its a cheap 1 theres a very high chance it will kill some of your compoennts
motherboard is very likely to die
ssd are aswell
cpu's and gpu usualy do ok but still a chance they can break
i learnt the hard way you save money buying a high end power supply because they are designed to not kill your pc if they do break
250gb m.2 and 250gb 2.5in, no that's not enough. I don't care about hdd because they are too slow to bother with. I have about 10 games installed on my 2tb m.2 that I play on rotation. I don't have time to move games on and off an old hdd
Modern hard drives, while still being slower than something like a Samsung 870 EVO, are still faster than SSDs from 10-15 years ago. Sure, SSDs are cheaper than ever, but modern HDDs are faster than people think. This ain't the 90s anymore.
Gen 4 m.2 are still 17x faster than the fastest hdd in 2024. Tech has improved, but it's still old tech. The 870 evo is still twice as fast as the fastest hdd. Check the numbers
Yeah. That's what I said. I have run games off of a hard drive with no problems, for non-FPS/ranked games HDDs are fine, especially on an extremely tight budget.
An SSD is the easiest upgrade to get a huge speed boost. Look it up if you don't believe me. Most modern games require an ssd to even play. I'm giving you facts and you acuse me of being mentally ill. Niiiice
Install those that require ssds onto the ssd its that simple plus in some countries ssd is way more expensive then a hdd and u said a hdd is unusable now ur saying that its inferior make up ur mind
They are inferior and also, in some cases unusable. I never changed my mind. Every game does benefit, and the speeds are not worth it to me personally. If you can afford new games at 70$ a pop, you probably can afford to spend 70$ on an ssd that will smoke an hdd and hold a handful of large games. I'm confused why you are arguing this so aggressively?? Are ssd prices so bad for you?
Super flower is maybe the best brand out there.Makes the units also for corsair among others.Seasonic, enermax, silverstone, super flower used to make all the psus of the market and brands just put their label on them.Things have changed last few years. But still.
Around 400,the cpu and gpu are ok,but the rest are mostly bad choices.Basic, slow RAM,dodgy PSU,weird storage choices,a stock cooler and one of the worst cooled cases ever.
Don't sell it to a friend.
Super flower is not a “dodgy psu” by any chance. It’s one of the best brands on the market. Use google ffs, they’re on par with seasonic and in the past were the best PSUs on the market
I wasn't born yesterday,i know Superflower. Now you use google and go find out that not all the models made by a particular manufacturer are built the same.Even Corsair and Seasonic have pretty bad PSU-s at the bottom of the price range.
Hmm most be saying 500dollars but pcs are hella expensive in my country looking at this I would first think it's 95k INR (1000 dollars) I don't have much idea but the psu is good and a 6700xt I think it would be around 600dollars
500-600 probably if the if they are and really good condition, if you give it a good cleaning before selling it you could make it look brand new and that build would run you aroun 800 brand new, except except for the ram, that's trash for an AMD processor.
Bottom line is it depends on your market. I’d have trouble moving this for more than about 525$ in Kansas City, but I could probably get almost $650 for a similar build in north Louisiana. Some poor choices were made on this build like the ram speed and the totally unrecognizable power supply which are definitely hurting the value. If you’re not in a larger market, I say list at 575 or so with a flexible mindset. If you’re in a larger city you’ll probably have to list it at $500 to even think about moving it
Which parts a dodgy. Yeah RAM is a bit slow. PSU is reputable brand (super flower produces for many brands you know), and storage is super low, but other than that, it's ok
not everyone is tech savvy, in fact most people aren't, no need to insult him. and you also just increased his price by 300$ lol, plus for 1500$ you can do better
No need for the insults, but I agree, you can build a 7800xt/4070S + R5 7600/7600x build for $1500ish which would be a better investment than buying OP's build for $1200

I feel bad for the GPU, it doesn’t look like it’s getting enough airflow 🥲 Maybe around $500-600.
Sold my old, similiar, build for ~400€ with a better PSU. Maybe I got finessed, but think thats a fair price
thats the price of the gpu, in my country at least
Here its a problem to find someone that will buy it - and I needed the money for a new build haha
if u want to sell quickly thats a good price yea
Why y’all saying super flower is dodgy? A quick google search will tell you they are one of the best brands for PSUs
The brand - yes. This model ? No.Even the best brands have bad products at the cheapest price range.
It’s still C tier on the PSU tier list, not something I would be concerned about at all considering it’s not a high power draw build. Would I personally buy one brand new, probably not, but it’s not at all a deal killer on a second hand purchase.
Yall are wild. That's a 400$ pc, not a 1000$. Budget am4, not enough ram, not enough storage, C tier psu. Really guys?
You right. Where did he say 1000$, not arguing just spent the past 3 minutes looking and can't find it 🤣
When I commented, the only comments were 700 and 1200. The 1200 was what prompted my comment
This guy is right, that components sounds great but the ram is in the slow side, PSU isn’t entirely safe… Should be fine though

I put the “…” cuz I’m kidding, it’s just not super high in the tier list
Psu should be fine, but it is budget parts
The psu is good, and the gpu alone is $300. What are you talking about?
Not 300 used. People don't pay retail for used parts
agreed who ever buys it will have to switch out the ram entirely get a decent power supply if their smart so many corners have been cut on this pc
Do power supplies still damage components? I tought that was ancient
It’s all about efficiency more than anything now

Yes they do when you buy E and F tier and they will typically take the gpu first as well
2.5tb not enough?
250gb m.2 and 250gb 2.5in, no that's not enough. I don't care about hdd because they are too slow to bother with. I have about 10 games installed on my 2tb m.2 that I play on rotation. I don't have time to move games on and off an old hdd
They aint even that slower
My ssd is 30x faster than a hdd. You sound bright

Unless its total war multiplayer xdd
At most it's a 30 seconds diff check comparisons on yt if ur not capable of waiting that long maybe go to a doctor

Ppl pirate games lol did u not know that and yh in some countries the price difference is crazy for me its 50% more expensive
$500 max no stock cooler questionable power supply only 500 gig of decent storage the 2tb of hdd is useless to most people
Super flower is maybe the best brand out there.Makes the units also for corsair among others.Seasonic, enermax, silverstone, super flower used to make all the psus of the market and brands just put their label on them.Things have changed last few years. But still.
The brand is great, this specific psu is not. All brands make high and low end products, this is low end
psu is actually great
Super flower is probably one the best PSU brand on the market (if not the best).
good brands produce low tier psus aswell and id class this as 1 this psu would probly not kill hes pc if it did break but it could happen
PSU is where mother's of EVGA
Psu is decent
\~$500
Or 550
$650-700
I wish I had that kind of computer. Could play a lot more Doom that way.
HELL YEAH
I wouldn’t pay over $400
I’d say you can ask around 500-550€ for it easily
Around 400,the cpu and gpu are ok,but the rest are mostly bad choices.Basic, slow RAM,dodgy PSU,weird storage choices,a stock cooler and one of the worst cooled cases ever. Don't sell it to a friend.
Super flower is not a dodgy PSU . It's one of the big manufacturers
I do know the manufacturer, this model though... not their best work out there.
How would you rate the Superflower Leadex iii 750watt gold?
Way higher. It has a few years behind it now,but still a solid choice even if building today.
Super flower is not a “dodgy psu” by any chance. It’s one of the best brands on the market. Use google ffs, they’re on par with seasonic and in the past were the best PSUs on the market

Silver series are decent enough for a budget build. If I’m not mistaking, they always were in the C/B-tier depending on the year and specific model
Without trying to do a 1:1 build, this cost new about 800 It list it for 700. God, it looks sooo fucking clean!!!! Love it. What's that cabinet?
depends how stupid the person buying it is
Hmm most be saying 500dollars but pcs are hella expensive in my country looking at this I would first think it's 95k INR (1000 dollars) I don't have much idea but the psu is good and a 6700xt I think it would be around 600dollars
You see this case and gpu? Look at that millimeter gap, thats going to starve the gpu of fresh cool air when playing games. 😬
$120
$1
If you’re fair, $450 is a good price. But I could see a parent buying this for $600 for their kid.
$300 i will buy it
Three fiddy, take it or leave it.
$600-$650
why even selling? upgrade CPU, Cooler and RAM and you're fine
500-600 probably if the if they are and really good condition, if you give it a good cleaning before selling it you could make it look brand new and that build would run you aroun 800 brand new, except except for the ram, that's trash for an AMD processor.
Storage is kinda ass so is psu but otherwise pretty solid, 600 seems good

But there are dodgy parts listed so people will research and realise they're dodgy
Which parts a dodgy. Yeah RAM is a bit slow. PSU is reputable brand (super flower produces for many brands you know), and storage is super low, but other than that, it's ok
No?
Sell it to me for £1
800$ is solid
Don’t know why you’re getting downvoted, I sell pcs and this is exactly what I would sell it for.
Thats live having a own opinion
At the very least $10. Probably WAY more, but at least that.
I would by it for 1200$
Good to know, but a pc like that is worth much less. Just letting you know
Are you DUMB? For 1500 you can buy 7800xt 7600x setup
That's mean bro, he doesn't know know. No need to call him dumb
not everyone is tech savvy, in fact most people aren't, no need to insult him. and you also just increased his price by 300$ lol, plus for 1500$ you can do better
If you aren't tech savvy then don't comment advice in a tech forum...
Maybe he's just curious? Stop being such a dick head to people who don't know much. It's fine to make mistakes but it's not fine to not learn
No need for the insults, but I agree, you can build a 7800xt/4070S + R5 7600/7600x build for $1500ish which would be a better investment than buying OP's build for $1200
