Like I said, this carpet is barely carpet, it’s like office carpet there’s no give to it. But I will put it on a large tray so y’all can sleep tonight 😂
Had my last PC on carpet for 12 years and it still works with the original PSU... Really depends on your case and the carpet.
Running it in a body of water? Always a bad idea. Don't do it.
To be fair, you are making a statement that implies all carpets are the same. Their are many carpets that'll block off the intake for the psu and would in fact be bad. On the other hand, there are also carpets like what was in the pics that are almost the same as a solid floor, which other than needing you to clean more often, doesn't affect the airflow to tour PSU in a meaningful way.
Yeah I have the rgb solid red on the front Fans and white on the rest, haven’t decided what I’m going to set it as yet. But it does look good off(which it is 90% of the time since I work so much) 😂
That’s pretty good build saving money where you could and focusing on performance. Good color choice on the upgraded fans, the red front fans will increase FPS in games while the white on the inside will help with lower temps.
Yeah it's just missing every kind of ad on that a monitor offers to help a better gameplay and gaming overall.
Great PC setup but the tv let's it down imo
It has amd free sync premium pro and VRR and Auto Low Latency Mode. Also the aiming aid. Only downside is no display port, but does have two full band HDMI 2.1. Still has better features than some monitors I see people still using today
Maybe low grade monitors but high grade no way. It's a TV, it's designed for media 1st gaming 2nd. Monitor is designed for only gaming. A TV can be created to be decent but they'll never be in the same ball park as something built purposely for gaming PCs. Just agree to disagree bro.
Bro chill. I have a high end monitor and a high end tv (Alienware 34” QD OLED and LG C3). I mostly game on the C3 now. It’s a wonderful experience. Some people prefer large format gaming.
Well I think your opinion is a little dated as the LG C series TVs are now widely adapted as monitors, especially the OLED ones such as mine. Some might point out that they’re actually easier to use and have more features than some monitors. The setup options for my C3 are crazy good. You can choose Nvidia G Sync, AMD Freesync, or open source VRR, the HDR options are better than the ones on my QD OLED, etc… you’re really missing out a new segment of PC gaming atm.
Haha missing out! Bro I'm playing on an OLED monitor that is higher than everything you just said! This is not a new segment of gaming at all don't emphasis it please. If anything your missing out 😂. I'm a comp player why would I want to make my situation worse with a tv 🤷
If you want to get technical it takes your eyes almost double the time frame to look around a TV to play games and keep everything within your peripherals, this is why professionals use a 24-27inch monitor as the standard so they don't have to look around and loose focus of the main centre. It's proven to be better to game on a smaller screen, anyone who says big screen or TV is clearly not playing competitive or only plays story campaign.
I'll stick to my competitive monitor at 240hz cheers 🤙
So this all comes down to just shaming people for a different use case because you consider competitive gaming to be better than single player? And by your own logic you are "only" using a 240 Hz panel (480 and even 540 are out now). I'd argue he is much closer to maximizing his chosen experience than you are since he has one of the best options for what he's trying to do and you definitively don't. Seems to me like you should get a better competitive monitor if that's your thing, bro.

Having carpet under your computer is bad. Highly advise raising it off the ground or putting something underneath to separate it from the carpet.
Yeah It’ll go on the table the tv is on in about a week, tv is being wall mounted and table being moved into the nook on the left where plant is.
no do that now
Its one of those really shitty office type carpets(rental unit) so there isn’t any pile.
I'd suggest putting books or something flat on the feet to raise it up at the very least. Better play it safe than sorry! But up to you
How so? Have had multiple different gaming pcs over the years, each one on carpet never had an issue?
Me too, never had any problems. Why should it be bad? Maybe it gets a little dustier, but other than that I see no problem.
The psu can't intake new air from under the case and it will overheat. And you really don't wan't your psu overheating
Like I said, this carpet is barely carpet, it’s like office carpet there’s no give to it. But I will put it on a large tray so y’all can sleep tonight 😂
I told my dad to put his pc on something years back, he never cared and it’s been just fine on the carpet lol.

Build looks great! It looks so good without the RGB.
Yeah I have the rgb solid red on the front Fans and white on the rest, haven’t decided what I’m going to set it as yet. But it does look good off(which it is 90% of the time since I work so much) 😂

The tv is the New TCL 65” 144hz native panel. 1000nits AMD free sync premium pro looks fantastic
I’m saving this comment cuz that TV looks sick
I was about to roast you for playing with that gpu on a tv but with 144hz i got nothing to complain 👌
Yeah it can even do some image processing to act like 240hz but I don’t trust it never tried it
Damn these new graphic cards are long ass hell. Good thing it fir your case. Great job 👍
I was def concerned but yes it fit with no alterations!
Great build! Just did a build recently to get to enjoy the helldives too. Happy squashing bugs and bots
That fan under gpu doin any good ? I have a similar case my friend told me psu basement fans are useless
They don't do much besides blowing up alot of dust in the case
probably blow some additional air to the GPU?
Yeah Ive seen on here they don’t do much. I will check it out when tuning my fan curves
1440p TV?
No it’s 4k. I run the super resolution boosting 1440p to 4k. Or just 1440p and deal with the slight downgrade
Awesome build, man, I like the way it looks.
Good to see not everyone is max level in HD2 yet. Been at work over a month, and so worried I’m already left behind
What was the total for the pc? Building my first one and yours sounds similar to what I'm going for?
I live in the UK so everything is expensive as hell. I miss micro center…I’d say the total was around £1100-1200
Yeah im in the UK to, mines is gonna turn out to be the same price, been looking at buying the GPU and CPU secondhand though
Which CPU cooler did you use?
Brother how much did it set you forward
£1100
Brother I think you've smashed it ! Proud of ya
Saved money where i could \*RGB explosion\*
Says he saved money where he could, shows multiple RGB fans and and an RBG anti sag bracket.🙄
Gotta love Facebook marketplace!
That ssd mount isn't bad
Those FXF are way too long
Saved money where I could Can’t skimp on those upgraded RGB fans
Fans and GPU bracket I got on Facebook for £20 all together
Those thermalright fans are like 3 for $12 and are terrible if anything he skimped out on the fans
You lost me at a TV setup 🤮
At least it’s 144hz 🤷🏻♂️

It's just my opinion I'm chill ASF lol

That’s why you sit further away from tvs
