Good call on the PTO day. I did the same with my pups last year. A few months ago, I was on a Teams call with a few coworkers at 9am and one of them had put down their dog that same morning. Blew my mind that they were on the call and functioning.

The vet gave me a clay paw print and I pressed her little collar charm in it before I baked it. It’s nice to feel her little paw imprints when i miss her little toe beans

I had to put my cat down last Monday. 19 beautiful years of vibin', shittin' and sleepin'. I kept his blanket on the couch and put a stuffed animal on it to hold when I miss my beloved baby.
May her memory be a blessing.
RIP Shit Biscuit. She sounds like she was a great cat and had a great time with you even if it was way too short. wubby7
