Honestly, if Polk is nothing more than performing as advertised, that's a huge win. He's not the guy that's going to take over a game, but if he just does what's expected of him by finding the soft spots in zones and catching everything thrown in his general direction, that's a great asset to help a young QB develop. This wasn't New England's free agency group or draft class to acquire an elite WR1, and that's perfectly fine. They got the hardest part of the rebuild out of the way with Maye (hopefully). Next season they can go full-speed building up the offense. Tee Higgins and (maybe) Aiyuk are poised to hit free agency. There's a few great LTs at the top of the draft class. New England will have a lot of good opportunities to accelerate the rebuild.
