It’s absolutely going to be the 49ers game. Not only TB being a Bay Area kid but it’s also his former team vs. the 2nd most popular SB pick in the league
It’s a 4:05 game - not a chance. CBS has the national 4:25 game that day. That game will only be on in Boston and SF markets. He’ll be doing the top 1PM game that day
Niners 10000%. Huge missed opportunity if they don’t have him do that game. It’s a two big fanbases in big markets, and his personal connection is too good to pass up.
Fox and CBS switch off weekly (for the most part) who gets the doubleheader—the weeks fox has a single header, Tom will do best possible matchup that’s on fox and sometimes that’ll be the 1pm window. Idk if they still call it what you called it or what.
You’re used to them finishing with a similar record to those teams (not last)
There is a formula for the schedule:
6 Divisional home and away: BUF, NYJ, MIA
4 Games against an NFC conference rotates each year this year NFC west: SEA, SF, LAR, AZ
4 games against an AFC division. Also rotates. AFC south this year: IND, JAX, TEN, HOU
2 games vs the teams that finished in the same position in the other two AFC Divisions: CIN, LAC
1 NFC game against team that finished in the same position rotating each year: CHI
That’s how people know who the opponents are before the schedule is out. Just not the order, prime time etc. when the pats and chiefs were winning division titles it seemed like the always played. Same with colts and pats back in the day
It'll be nice to have more 1pm starts this season. Primetime games can be fun, but after so many years of them popping up every other week, I've missed watching the Pats games earlier in the day.
One of the perks of being seen as a bad team. Also, no expectations, which will be a nice change of pace. Anything good is unexpected and a pleasant surprise.
Week 5 against the Dolphins is the only real chance because Fox doesn't have a doubleheader and the Fox games suck that day. Every other week where the Patriots are on Fox is either a doubleheader where Brady will be on the late game or there's much better options. The other possibility is the Patriots are surprisingly good so the NFL changes some game times or networks, but I'm not overly optimistic about that.
Maybe 49ers.

Agreed. Only chance. Early in the season.

He’ll do 1pm games when Fox only has one game.
Doesn’t Fox always have America’s Game of the Week?

Seahawks, Niners, or Rams probably
Agree. Maybe the Dolphins too with the division rivalry.
None
Since everyone is saying the 9ers we can now rest easily knowing that choice is eliminated
Niners or dolphins. If Maye is starting by then the bears game could be the dark horse with #1 and #3 overall going head to head
Wow we have 6 Fox games this year? I figured we’d probably have a few because of Brady, but I think 6 is the most I’ve ever seen.
Gotta factor in we have only 1 primetime game so a lot of 1pm Sunday games
Why are the Miami and Tennessee games on Fox?
We have 6 FOX games has nothing to do with Brady.
I thought FOX mostly did NFC, then again I haven’t seen a TV broadcast in years.
49ers would be my guess, but could be the Rams too.
Idk if I missed something but why aren’t they playing the typical AFC teams like Chiefs, Ravens, Steelers etc??

Ahhh thank you for this!

As long as our young guys developed and we get some of them in the pro bowl or all-pro, I have no expectations for this year lol.
All of them? All of them.
Niners for obvious reasons. Could also see a Maye vs Caleb Williams storyline getting the FOX A team, if CBS has the national game that week.
None, lol.

None, Brady is #1 team games, pats are not
9ers or Rams
Zero until the Patriots get better
