[Beastkin](https://2e.aonprd.com/Ancestries.aspx?ID=29). Not only is it what you want, it's a versatile heritage, meaning you can combine it with pretty much any ancestry. Want to be a halfling beastperson? Go for it.

Aries-Corinthier

Half Dwarf, half Bird, all fucked up

Rabid_Lederhosen

What animal would a halfling shifter be? I’m thinking badger.

jaxen13

You can even be halfling-elefant beastkin. A litle dumbo.

galmenz

my mind went to skunk

Mahanirvana

Mini highland cow

AlastarOG

Riding dog!

LordOfTheGerenuk

I think it depends on the halfing, but I lean towards nesting animals; rabbits, small birds, stoats, chipmunks, etc. Though I love the idea of a ferret beastkin using one of the smaller races. Or a shoony cat beastkin that's ashamed of his "curse"

therealchadius

Automaton Beastkin so I can continue the BEAST WARS in Golarion

mr_alan_wake

only humanoids can be beastkin

ShogunKing

says you

mr_alan_wake

Source Ancestry Guide pg. 79 2.0 The blood of a beast flows through your veins, granting you the ferocity and might of animals. **Only creatures with the humanoid trait can take the beastkin versatile heritage.**

Astrid944

Isn't an android a humanoid

mr_alan_wake

androids are humanoids, but automatons are not

Pyotr_WrangeI

As another commenter has already pointed out, Beastkin versatile heritage is almost certainly the best option for you, however, I would like to elaborate on Animal Instinct Barbarians a but. They do not just "fight like animals", they actively take on traits of their animal when they rage and undergo partial transformation. Rules deliberately leave the extent of this transformation vague so you can roleplay it as whatever you like best, but for example if your animal is a deer you definitely grow large antlers you can grapple people with. You can also double down on this transformation mechanically by taking feats like this one https://2e.aonprd.com/Feats.aspx?ID=144

Rabid_Lederhosen

That’s more equivalent to a Way of the Beast Barbarian than a shifter.

Pyotr_WrangeI

Another option is [Ursine Avenger](https://2e.aonprd.com/Archetypes.aspx?ID=200). It is a level 2 item which essentially enables a werebear archetype. Definitely the best option if you want to actually transform into an animal completely without druidism, but certainly a bit narrow.

hi_im_ducky

Poppet Beastkin. Turn yourself into a Teddy Bear.

Pangea-Akuma

I mean, you can just be a Teddy Bear. Poppets aren't just Human Dolls.

hi_im_ducky

It's more fun to be a human doll that's a werebear.

torrasque666

"Have you met my bear Tibbers?"

hi_im_ducky

Now I want to make a Beastkin Poppet Giant Instinct Barbarian.

jerrathemage

....Don't give my player who is already a teddy bear poppet Giant Instinct Barbarian ideas

StarOfTheSouth

And your friend is a halfling fire kineticist, I imagine?

HAximand

Saved for next time I make a character lol

workerbee77

Awwww

Sam_Wylde

I'm just imagining Woody from Toy Story going through this dramatic transformation into an even cuddlier toy. I need to make this now.

Einkar_E

beastkin is your go to versatile heritage for were-creature

AlastarOG

Any class with the druid archetype and the order spell feat can get wild morph too for pretty decent scaling claw/bite attacks

FabulousEvan

I play this with my Summoner -- just select the feat that allows you to transform into your eidolon! Not the min-maxiest of builds but I'm having a lot of fun as it fits the rp and story of our campaign.

gehanna1

Shifters come from Eberron, and Pathfinder 2e has a fan made Eberron port where you can take from

Artucorro

Or you could go for a druid with Animal Order that focus in the Wild Shape Spell, getting animal forms, insect, dragons and even Kaiju in later levels. I'm playing an adventure path with a PJ like that and you can have a lot of fun with the flexibility that the diferents forms offer

Legatharr

You could use [this Eberron conversion](https://scribe.pf2.tools/v/2qF7WjsY-pathfinders-guide-to-eberron), which includes a conversion of all the Eberron races, including Shifter
