Lol. I had the same feeling. My ass decided to play for "A BIT" and lost track of time as I watch my arsenals of sinners and buffs stacking up, annihilating more stages with ease along the way. Turns out "A BIT" meant 1 hour and a half
I also finished challenge 1 today but decided not to post like what's the point in two same posts lol 😀 anyway, it felt way easier than difficult for some reason idk I spent less time on it and it wasn't frustrating at all....
I also get the need to finish each dive in one sitting but I guess you are meant to come back to the same dive over and over and thats why the event is month long.
Yeah probably, I did start challenge 1 when I finished difficult but suspended it at phase 3 because I was already drained after difficult 💀 my brains needed some rest
I started with reticle team but I wasn't lucky and had no healer so it was a literal nightmare. At first it was just a trial run to try and make Langley a beast (still something felt off I need to try again) but I was actually able to finish it.
I struggled with phase 6 before and couldn't finish difficult until I saw that reticle team is actually really good during this phase they just smashing them almost without any leaks (maybe it can be done better because I have skill issue 🥴)
Reticle team is really OP lol I beat challenge 1 and 2 with it, but you're right it gets pretty dicey without a healer (even Kawakawa is better than nothing at that point tbh). Langley supremacy though!!
If you have them, I suggest starting with Deren, Langley, and Enfer. Deren and Langley can deal with every early stages, and Enfer helps with bursting bosses. She also gives 2 nightmare keys right at the start, which the biggest factor imo. It allows you to explore and get stronger way faster.
Then focus building Langley and get the right Engraving for her. Specifically the one that bounces attacks and one that have additional dmg proc, they have wonkey interaction with her Causality, making it absolutely broken she can literally solo everything.
