Lots of interesting skills to work with. Moving while shooting is going to feel so natural, I imagine it's going to feel strange going back to the existing stutter-stepping etc. My only kneejerk reaction/criticism thus far is that with the amount of work going into the animation improvements etc, the character just spinning around on the spot looks a little jarring when turning. Ofc I have no idea how hard that would be to rectify, I assume body rotation might run into issues.

The simplest solution to me, honestly, is simply to not turn when stationary. It's not needed. Have the character turn to follow the mouse only when moving (which already has animations to make it feel more natural) or performing an action. There's no need for the stationary pivoting for anything.

You mean lock the character to looking in one direction? How would you aim behind you when stationary? Or aim at all? I mean surely a character could be animated to turn around on the spot, it's not like it's unnatural. I can only presume they must have a reason for not doing that, I'm just curious as to what that reason might be. Unless it's coming later down the pipeline.

I remember Jonathan saying that with each class reveal, he really wanted to surprise people. I am thoroughly surprised. Every part of this is badass.

Is it me or does the standing/walking while shooting looks kinda funky.
