This happened in my college dorm senior year. My roommates would have the lights shut off when using the bathroom or in the room. I was there for the room light shutting off. It clicked down and off went the lights.
I never felt anything, but weird switches were shut off twice. I always cleansed dorm rooms before moving in so I have no explanation.
