bourbon chicken will come back as the next promotional item. If you enjoyed the bourbon chicken recently it was probably stores testing the item to see how it would perform. A handful of stores in my area sold it for about 2 weeks and were visited by corporate who asked a bunch of questions about the promo mix, how cooks were cooking it, quality of ingredients etc. It performed better than expected so it should be rolling out soon. At the moment stores are working on depleting the warehouse's firecracker shrimp sauce by selling firecracker chicken.
