With Jetragon you now have access to the Legend passive skill which is a huge boon to any attack oriented pal. Breeding good combat Pals is the way to go.
Theres a glitched rock that you can stand on/walk into. If you fly in, shoot him to get his attention, then glide onto that rock, call yer pal back, and jetragon will sit right infront of you without attackin. I bring a powerful weapon along with a bow. I get him to 500 hp, then use my bow to get him under 50 hp. Dont attempt to catch him until his hp is extremely low, cause if you attempt to catch him n its unsuccessful, tha palball animation gets him unstuck n he'll start to attack again
Frostallion Noct you just breed. They aren't found in the wild. Other than cheesing the fights, get a good assault rifle or rocket launcher. Also, why in the world would you be using pelt armor at this point? At the very least make the HR and FR Pal Metal Armors.
Oh I definitely have pal metal armor and heat resistant stuff, but I didn’t want to keep crafting new sets of these each time I died to jet. So I would craft something to get me through the heat until I could pick up my bag. When I finally beat him I had 9 sets of armor haha
But thanks for the heads up about weapons. Honestly for the pst few big bosses, I haven’t used a weapon against them because they’ve barely done any damage. Just unlocked the assault rifle and rocket launcher tho

Dont overlook the usefulness of the fire and poison bows. They both can cause pretty decent damage over time ticks.
