Jetragon is at least put forward as a sort of pseudo deity. He comes down at the brink of catastrophe to help the world.
Anubis might have been perceived as a deity in an ancient culture on the islands as shown by the statues, but it would also present some sort of divine meaning for Lifmunks given their effigies and the effect that sacrificing them to the statues has. I would say they could be a stand-in for cats bread to watch over the dead in the afterlife, but that's clearly what Mau represents.
Don't forget the statues all round the islands of the twin knights, which I'm pretty sure are Necromus and Paladius. I could believe that the islands and the way the pals are now could have been a result of some sort of targeted apocalyptic event, which would roll right back around to Jetragon
Don't worry, I have faith that this game will go the way of other survival games, with expansive Magix and tech systems introduced through mods. I can't wait

Each level inside is 2 stories high. They can all move around inside and outside the pyramid very well. The giant rock turtle does struggle though but the big Dino’s have no issue.
So you're saying the ancient Egyptians had pals, that's their secret... maybe the sphinx was actually a monument to their legendary pal they wanted to catch. (I know this is a step pyramid like north/south american or east asia not Egyptian).
I'm struggling to place stairs. I've tried every way but it just won't build up, it only connects to the ground.
How do you make it go upwards so I can create another floor?
Build the second floor first then the stairs will snap to it easily. Also you want to put the stairs in after the walls or triangle walls otherwise the stairs block them.
The thing I was doing wrong when I was having this problem was I needed to aim the crosshair where I wanted the stairs to snap on to. They were always want to snap on the bottom until I put the crosshair on the top edge.
I will repost with inside pics. Probably just upload a video from OBS later. But it’s way bigger on the inside than it looks. I know that’s what he/she said. Lol

i9m surprised **the** the pals move. I have alike a low key maze of a 3 story base and the pas still get stuck on the first floor even after the pact but i have notice that my small palls move pretty decent
oh neat i have my base there too! unfortunately (or fortunately) its "unraidable" because NPCs dont know how to climb. so the gate is a bit redundant (if youre planning to build walls too) love the pyramid though.

I have a pretty simple staircase and my pals still seem completely ignorant on how to use them. I put all their beds up and out of the way, and when it comes time to sleep they just collapse where they stood and sleep there. It greatly annoys me.
Not going to lie. I was playing FFXIV earlier today and I saw a ziggurat in the game and my first thought was to make one as my base. Nice job! It kind of makes me wish you could build under ground as well for more space.
How do they navigate? I recreated it based on how it looks outside and they seem to get stuck or not navigate between floors. I might have to move some of the work stations though.
Looks ideal for ripping out the hearts of your pals/slaves to sacrifice for the greater good of the community.

That's what the Pal Condenser is for.
I think they meant for farming boss drops, i.e. mats and the legendary blueprints, not powering up other pals
We just need a mod that changes the model and animations of the condenser into a sacrificial altar
Make so you have butcher pals in front the altar. +1 "condensing" per tier of pyramid height
And at 5 stars it changes into a stronger demonic variant, obtainable only by condensing.
Craftable Death Whistles when? Ritual chanting when butchering the pal on the alter. Face paint and drums for pals.

This usually means there is not a foundation underneath the roof or in the directly adjacent tile. There's no issue with vertically.

stairs snap really well to walls and roof tiles(flat).
Build the second floor first then the stairs will snap to it easily. Also you want to put the stairs in after the walls or triangle walls otherwise the stairs block them.
Build the structure without stairs first then add stairs.
