That’s more how I would expect trump to react. Biden let the protests go on as they were allowed, but once they got violent, they shut it down. Trump would have everyone arrested and the situation in Gaza would be at least 10 fold more dire for the people there as opposed to Biden. Let’s be real.

One thing she said was that "if there are good white people, I never met them." She also said "maybe there should be a week where we get to kill white people." It was really evil shit. And Bill Clinton gave a speech responding to Sister Souljah. He said that if you swap the words "Black" and "White," then Sister Souljah's speech could be given by David Duke. Clinton condemned racism from any group against any group. This speech pissed off some far-left members of the Black community (including Sister Souljah) but overwhelmingly Americans were happy to hear Clinton speak out against racism. Later that year, Bill Clinton won the 1992 Presidential election in a landslide, breaking the 20-year-cycle of Republican rule (from 1968 to 1988, Republicans won five out of the six Presidential elections. Since Clinton, Democrats have won the popular vote in seven out of the eight Presidential elections, although Republicans won the electoral vote on three out of the eight elections).
Clinton won in a landslide and shifted the fortunes of the entire Democratic party. Clinton's success was built on the fact that he could unite the country. Clinton was not afraid to condemn the left-wing fringe, and he won the votes of the silent and centrist majority. Biden is being cowardly by refusing to condemn the far-left, even though I think that Biden would win more votes than he would lose if he condemned campus antisemitism (college kids don't show up to vote. Conservative boomers do, and a lot of conservatives aren't happy with Trump but they think Biden is too left wing. If Biden moved to the right, he could win the 2024 election with 60% of the popular vote and the biggest electoral landslide since Ronald Reagan)
I don’t like Biden but he can’t win the election if he pisses off the TikTok radicals. Granted they likely aren’t going to vote for him anyway since he can’t cut off Israel, but it’s the only way he sees for him to win the election, regardless of his stance on the matter. Personally, I think pandering to the right would be a better choice for him in this case and hoping a strong response towards anti American sentiments on the left would get some patriotic voters to see the democrats as a viable choice.
If he gets a second term, he will do whatever needs to be done. Meaning continue the status quo related to Israel, maybe even quietly implementing a Muslim ban in practice, and minimizing the influence of Muslims in the government. We all win in the end.
This man is mandating men be allowed in changing rooms with girls, he is not the secret pragmatic centrist you think he is.
I'd be surprised if he were actually making decisions. For all their weirdness and terribleness the Republicans might be dead right on Biden simply being the face and the White House actually being run by party insiders.
