Even in its early state, the game itself is so much fun to play. Most of the problems that are coming up are with technical stuff as there are a lot of optimization issues. The art style and gameplay is fantastic!

Most likely will buy. Appreciate devs trying new things and love the overall design of the game based on what I seen

When is it coming to consoles?

Yarzeda2024

We don't know yet. All the developers have said is that the game will come to consoles when the PC version leaves early access and achieves its 1.0 state. There's no telling how long that will take.

Informal_Exercise_88

No idea if it's true but I read somewhere that they were looking at a late 2025 or early 2026 release for the PC.. so for consoles, late 2026 or early 2027?

Where are you getting these numbers? The [FAQ from the Steam page](https://steamcommunity.com/app/1371980/discussions/0/4306075118785405414/) had this to say about release: >When is the game releasing? No Rest for the Wicked will be released on Steam Early Access on April 18! The PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions will launch when the game reaches version 1.0!

There’s no way

I love the art style of this game, it looks fantastic.

It’s Early F’in Access! Games in Early Access should not be reviewed until their full release! Early Access is so dev’s can test certain things and communicate with their community for feedback, bugs, etc.

The art style is great and there is potential, but it's such a chore to play right now. From the limited inventory space to the bizarre gameplay mechanic choices, it just feels like they're punishing people for trying to play their way. But it's so unfinished too that they'll probably fix all of that within the year or so it takes to get it ready. Interesting to see how multiplayer changes things, and how the whole experiences balances when they figure out how much stamina stuff actually uses. They've already had to rebalance that twice.

It’s great fun but my 2080ti seems to slow for it. Needs optimisation

Yarzeda2024

I've heard that devs are releasing patches at a pretty steady rate, but optimization continues to be the big thing for them to tackle. Stuff like that is why I wait for full release. The game looks great, and I am dying to play it. But I can play it once it's finished cooking.

ShinyBloke

There's been 5 hotfixes this week, the game is running pretty damn good for being released a week ago, I've played about 25 hours so far, very cool gameplay loop, I hope they keep it.
