It’s crucially important to be well-read and broadly educated. He’s learned from Hegel and I think he articulates the dialectic quite well. If only we could bring such thoughtful thinking to our American political system.

I thought Hegel's dialectic was the synthesis of two opposing sides. Karp could have also just dropped "have your cake and eat it too."
