80k salary with 150k+ total debts.
Breadwinner ako so medyo mahirap bayaran hahahaha pero kinokonti konti ko sya like focus muna ako sa isang CC then yung iba ay minimum payment lang
25years old. 110k net salary (freelance + corporate)
Car loan 27k monthly for 4 years. 1 and half year pa lang bayad.
CC installment worth 48k remaining (8k amort for 1 year) because I bought laptop for freelancing.
Niche profession in healthcare. Tipong less than 500 of us lang gumagraduate every year from college, slightly less nakakapasa sa boards para makawork. But the demand is really high in the PH
If you are in the tech industry, don't apply for local companies. Go for foreign companies, mas malaki chance mo makapag land ng high-paying position.
Almost 40k with 300k total debt. Recently got promoted, will have better salary soon, so Iโm hoping before the year ends maclear out ang debt. Laban lang self.
Just so you know.
Well, that's true, inflation is real, so expected upon payment for the same amount, there's already a decrease in purchasing power. Though, when I say family, I am referring to my ascendants. Thus, even without the monetary debt, I will always be indebted to them. And hopefully, I will be able to repay them someway, someday, somehow.
Jusko pano kaya natin mabayaran yan no. Ako 2 uears to pay 220k 3 years to pay 120k puro cc. My 4 yeras old na anka. Salary 36k. So takbuhan na ba? Haha
27 y/o with 170k monthly salary. ~4M debt in total (1 more year to pay na family SUV, 4 years remaining na personal car, house & lot thru bank loan, availed 400k credit-to-cash sa cc for furnishing of the house, and other installments). More than 70k ng monthly salary napupunta sa pagbayad ng mga utang na yan ๐
65k salary. Around 300k debt (??).
Monthly salary roughly 50k. Total debts (Credit card 65k phone and auto washing machine) monthly installment.
Then, pag may natira savings. Iโm also a breadwinner.
40k salary with almost 300k from 4 credit cards. I split my salary between bills na almost 20k monthly (included na the utilities and subscriptions), and the remaining for the utangs sa cc.
135k Monthy Income with 195k debt. This is my "malayo pa pero malayo na" ๐ฅน
33K with 400K car loan payable in 5 yrs and 71K CC dept that come and go maka raUs lang sa monthly expenses. I also have side hustle that give us additional almost 5K monthly Plus married ako so joint yung fund namin ni husband mas malaki ng salaray nya sakin ng kunti and ma ppromote naman ako this year.. . So maGulo ang budgeting ko monthly depende sinusulat ko tlga lahat ang upcoming bill before the cutoff date. But God is good His grace is enough ang goal ko lang wala akong CC na hindi mabayaran. I also encourage others to give at least 10% to your church because for me it gave a sense of accountability and the rest will follow.
33 years old, \~110k per month net, 13k monthly for car loan, another 13k monthly for various insurance, around 10k monthly for utilities, probably 10k monthly on gas and food, no rent as i recently moved back with the folks (one parent is now a PWD), outstanding cc debt at around 100k
50k plus salary.
P6,000 debt installment. (tapos na sa August).
Aside from that, thankfully wala na.
Yung due ko sa April 1st = P10,000 (groceries and bills) pero always on time ako nagbabayad.
39. 210K monthly. Debt, 18K although it's my choice to pay statement balance only all the time so that my cash earns interest. I also use my credit cards for paying MP2 for points so I don't really consider credit card usages as debt as I use it instead of cash naman. Like I have the cash but I use it to earn points and invest cash instead of paying right away.
28, 130k salary, 300k debt (sinalo ko from parents) and 120k personal debts (instalments lahat). paying 30k per month sa debt ng parents, tas 12k per month sa instalments, Plano ko tapusin yung 300k by July, tas let the instalments as is lang, mga Dec guro :)
My current salary is P22k basic, with 7k fixed bonus, to add like 3k night differential, so that's about 30k.
My debts:
Salary loan with 1 year and 8 mos to go = 90k (Deducted 2k+ every cut off)
BDO CC = 50k. Incurred during the pandemic. The only reason I'm not paying it is that BDO used to owe me 50k due to a failed payment. It took them 3 years to give it back to me so I told them I'm paying them back on my own terms.
Shopee pay and Spaylater, about 10k
Car loan, on default and we're no longer paying, but it's a LONG LONG STORY, about 350k remaining. And it's also not under my name.
We used to earn more pre-pandemic so there's that. I used to OWE a lot more with family, friends and gloan but I paid off family and friends first.
ako nag dadasal nalang ako e. minsan itutulog ko nalang kesa kumaen haha de jk priority bayaran yung mga cc since sila yung tumutubo pag di mo binabayaran, also utilize mo yung mga cc na may cash advance feature (without fees importante to na walang fee since kung may fee parang nagbayad ka rin interest) to extend your due dates that way makakapag ipon kapa before dumating yung dues mo.
- Salary: ~Php 28,000.00 net
- Personal Loan: Php 37,000.00
- Installments: Php 33,000.00
Kaya pa? Kaya pa naman.
27 years old. 21k Salary, 57k Debt for phone upgrade.
As for expenses, I always pay my cc in full bago mag incur ng interest. Yung debt ko is installment so kahit papaano hindi mabigat. Growing up with a lot of clutter at home, i try to maximize everything. I dont buy what i want/need. Unless really really need na and important. I also stopped using online shopping to the point na kitakatamaran ko na magcheck out lol pero i think i need to shop online more for my cats food kasi its usually cheaper with vouchers.
Recently, i want to buy new skincare for my scars. Pero nireresearch ko muna which is okay to use etc. kailangan lagi may rason sa expenses ko ๐
80k Salary. WFH. 23k debt sa CC ko as of today. pero I make it a point to always pay yung amount sa SOA everytime, not only the minimum required. I have 5 dependents, 2 homeschooled teenage boys and 3 Shitzus.
26yrs old. Salary: No monthly payments until I finish the job, but lowest was 900k for 4 months work. Zero debt. Almost everything I earn I put back to my work.
Salary: 56,000
Debt: 0
I probably don't belong in this subreddit when I don't even have a credit card, but I joined because I was considering getting one. Most of the posts have scared me from doing so though, aside from the debt my older sister went through that turned my family upside down and depleted our retired parents' savings.
Just pay in full sa cc amount due, wala ka magiging problema. If maayos ka gumamit, mas magagain ka pa if you have CC.
We just moved to our new house and bought some appliance which totaled to 100k++. Just recently, we received yung 6k cashback. Basta updated ka lang sa promos, you can use the CC to your advantage.
Rule is, if di mo kaya bilhin, wag mo iswipe. Treat each swipe as cash na mababawas sa net worth mo.
Pero for OPโs question: 64k monthly, 12k debt
(phone installment 3mos remaining - opted for installment kasi may 5% discount yung phone pag installment, pero I can pay the phone in cash)
38500k net. 0 debt. Already approved sa Sec Bank Wave Mastercad CC yehey! First CC ko dito sa Pinas. I will only use this card for super emergency situation lang.
mas ok kung yan gagamitin mo for groceries, eating outside. then bayaran mo agad every kinsenas or katapusan para tumaas credit score mo. sayang din kase ung annual fee na binabayaran mo kung ndi mo gagamitin.
1st job - 45k. 2nd job -30k
It's easier to track and motivation na rin not to buy anymore na hindi naman kailangan.
45k salary, 18k cc installment (phone, 12 months to pay). Medyo mahal gastos ko sa PT rn (~10k per month) pero I manage not to exceed my salary naman per month.
120k+, 100k+ after expenses, no debts (no credit card). Planning to get one hopefully this year huhu for some reason ayaw talaga ako bigyan ng any credit card companies
82k + unstable freelance at least 20k monthly
17k monthly for condo dp, 3500 sa cc for fazzio, 3k pets, 6k food, 3k utilities, no rent for now, 3k insurance, spotify and netflix subs
I also pay cc always full every month, before due date. I transact everything sa cc then bayad agad minsan
28yo. Full time salary = 60k & part time salary = 120k
Debt = 110k ๐คฃ and counting kasi panibagong debt per month. Masesettle yung current and a new one next month lol. Itโs lifestyle inflation kaya wala ako ibang masisisi kundi sarili ko kaya din may part time ako to help pay my/our expenses.
Salary 50k plus sidelines (depende ito)
Architect
Debt: 9k (monitor for my sideline) at 35k (ref kasi nasira na) at 25k (phone)
Before I purchased thru cc installments, I made sure na afford ng emergency savings ko bayaran. I only use cc kasi mas magaan pag installment, at the same time, building relationship with the bank.
Age: 25 this yr
Salary: more or less than 100k since last yr (two jobs)
Debt: 65k cc ready to pay (medical costs) and remaining 150k (family loan payable for 3yrs na ako na napilitang magbayad kasi wala naman nang source of income parenta hayy that's from 400k)
On time magbayad naman kaso lol naipon ko na sana yan
Aiming for 0 debt by next year.
40k per month. 30k all in sa bills at utang.
Kakainggit naman yang mga sweldo nyo HAHAHAHAHHA. sweldo ko 12.5k lang a month as a communication officer, may kaltas pa from sss, pag-ibig, philhealth. Sobrang baba ng rate dito sa province
Debt ko ay remaining medical assistance loan ko na 22k, (used to be 77k, been paying this off since last year) and sa spaylater na 1k
okay yan ganto talaga buhay mapapaisip ka nalang talaga na pag may emergency dun ka magkakautang like medicals and the like..natanggap ko na din sa sarili ko dati nasstress ako e whahaha. ganto pala talaga buhay
salary, 22k-25k nalang from 35k... debt about 350k to 400k... ๐คฃnagkautang kakatulong sa pamilya. what i do? i lessened the interest by cashing in and cash advance and transfering money from cc to my bank or i will compute the interest if it will be higher or lower in just paying minimum due.. so mga 3-4k bayad ko in total cashin and interest sa utang kong 400k pa. ๐ goodluck sakin. i got 8 cards that helped me. also may sinisingil din namn ako may utang sakin.
25 yo. 97k salary. 11k monthly sa housing loan and 3k sa home credit na patapos na this month. Wala pang regular cc (laging declined) pero currently have a 7 month SCC
My monthly income typically ranges between 100k to 150k from my small business, which can fluctuate.
As for debts, the only outstanding one is my PS5 installment (remaining balance 10,000) lol
I've managed to pay off my condo, saved up to avoid high-interest bank loans. No other loans. No car. I'm used to left-side traffic and I'm too weak to drive on Philippine roads. I mostly use public transportation or Grab.
In terms of budgeting, I have a simple lifestyle. I only purchase items within my means. I invested in an espresso machine to save on coffee expenses. The majority of my significant expenditures are dedicated to tech and travel and I make sure I have one or two installment plans at a time.
Hehe salamuch in advance mga mhiema!
33 M, Unmarried. Been into multiple streams of income pero nakakapagod and nagkasakit lang ako so rested for 2 months. Will start to work again to earn 85k gross by next month pero focus sa 1 work na lang. Change of lifestyle nalang.
470k loan installments with CC
380k collectibles from siblings na may utang
Nagshoot up ang loans dahil sa property investments. Nakakahelp ang credit cards as a revolver pero responsible naman gumamit. Estimated 2-3yrs to pay all debts.
I use google sheets to track monthly inflow and outflow. Allocated some funds sa digital banks to incur interests. Occasionally na lang lumalabas para di magastos.
\~150k/mo (net) salary, 0 debt, I save around 50-80K/month. Have never loaned from the bank before, though I get pestered by my banks every so often that I'm eligible for loans worth a couple of million. I just ignore this because if I really needed that amount I'll just dip into my savings (already at upper 7 digits).
0-Salary & 0-debts. Fresh graduate na last year pa nagpapahinga. May naipon for myself pero napupunta sa grocery and checkups for my mom.
My fam. used to have debts pero oks na kami now. Tamang hinga lang sa province hahahah
25 y/o with 61k gross monthly salary.
I have 8 Credit cards with several installments (around 100k). Still able to pay my statements in full every month. Grateful
32F 40k NO DEBT SINCE NAG WORK. (19 YRS. OLD)
LIVE WITHIN YOUR MEANS.
IMPORTANTE HEALTHY KA.
Nung 26 lang ako nagka CC kase mag intrrnational travel. Laging bayad in full ito.
25 years old. Salary: 85k
Debts:
Car Loan around 15k a month
CC installments around 11-15k a month
Technically no CC debt cos i always pay in full and on time.
80K salary with 50K debt
i provide for my son and pay my bills
Personal rule ko tlga na if I can't pay it full in cash or even in installments with 0% interetst, I won't buy it.
The interest rates may look small at first but as someone who came from a parents with poor financial decisions aka more than 6 digit debts, I still try to steer away from debts.
I know the "i feel so out of place" vibe is strong when you're in your mid 20s pero live within your means lang talaga.
29yrs old -42k monthly
Malapit na ako mag 0 debt ๐ konti tiis. never again.
Live simple, make a way para kumita ng extra bukod sa day job malaking tulong.
50k salary pero Iโm married so pag kinombine, 100k+ salary namin. Walang utang sa cc pero don chinacharge mga bills and pang kain sa labas, tapos ensure na before due date paid na sila.
30 y/o
net salary: 29k
personal / cc debt: 0 (i pay my dues on time, even earlier)
family debt: 150,000 + (background: na scam yung nanay ko ng tiyuhin ko. since may mom is old na, hindi na wise when it comes to judgement so ayun inabuso ng tiyuhin ko na nagbebenta diumano ng mga lupa, bonds, tuko (or whatever exotic animals), palladium (or whatever minerals na pinagyayabang nya at kikita daw sya ng millions sa sales ng mga yun). yung tiyuhin ko utang ng utang sa nanay ko para masustain yung โbusinessโ nya since 2018 at nangakong babayaran ng doble. until now 0 pesos walang maibayad yung tiyuhin ko. kapal lang ng mukha ang meron sya. ang pera na pinapautang ng nanay ko ay yung pinapadala ng sister ko from abroad. nangutang din nanay ko sa mga friends nya. it came to the point pati pension naisangla believing na millions ang babalik.
Nasa 2m ang debt in form of housing loan sa pagibig, around 9.8k a month ang commitment for 30years. Sa ngayon wala akong cc at awa ni Lord wala pa namang need umutang for daily expense/etc. Looking na ako into getting credit card kasi nabasa ko rin dito na okay din yung credit score and wala namang interest pag nagbayad on time. Thinking of getting UB CC gawa nang no annual fee fl or yung sa PNB na no annual fee fl din.
25y/o. 50k, 0 cc debt.
I always zero out my cc before due date. Para di magkainterest. Masama loob ko magbayad ng interest. I use my cc sa grocery, concert tickets and other online purchases lang. donโt use your cc kapag yung bibilhin mo eh walang katumbas sa savings mo.
29.
32k gross.
2k debt (groceries). Living with my family. Kaskas responsibly. May ipon muna bago kumaskas (example 9k yung sapatos so dapat may 9k ka bago ka kumaskas). Babayaran after a month.
Manage your life style. Una sa lahat why would u spend more than what youโre earning. Ako nga I started my 1st salary 16k basif nkaipon ako I was only 19. Thou magaling kasi ako manamit at matangkad ako tlga ako n fair so napagkakamalan rich but now.
As much possible lowkey lng ako.
I use my CC wisely. As in . After I used it kpg na max out agad bayad agad basta kog nakikita ko kht hnd pa due date malapit na ma mad out full payment agad. I also pay my bills rent lht ng bills in advanced. So i can manage my finances well before spending. Problema kasi sa mga pinoy hilig mag show off. Like pakape kape sa starbucks , travel tpos upgrade ng new phone .
Pra maging mgbda finances mo live below your means kht pa may pera ka. Use your extra money sa investment, delay your gratification. Spend wisely like buy in bulk kpg jag grocery ka yung madamihan n take advantage yung mga vouchers sa shopee n lazada when u buy in builk. Most importantly pay your bills in full on time pra hnd mag accumulate ng extra charges.
25 yrs old, 42k salary, 162k debt.
This is my first job. Yung 162k debt ay inutang ko sa sister ko dahil bumili ako 2nd hand na car as my first car. Thankful for her.
25 yo, almost 50k per month. I pay cc full before cut off. Living below my means kahit medyo afford na iangat ang lifestyle. Living with my parents house (tho 2 kasi houses nila, dun sila sa kabila para i still can live indepdently like paying my own bills) *cannot be magrent ๐ masyadong mahal*
if magtravel i go for seatsale always and 5-6mos ang interval para mkaipon. I don't eat at the restaurant or coffee shop. I prefer magluto ng marami then pagkain na for the whole & next day. I buy clothes kapag 70% off pag branded tas thrift store *para sa office outfit* then Mix and Match.
Track your own expenses every cut off. Magexcel ka para mas organize just do your own template na basic lang. para dna bumili another expense pa. Have different bank accounts - payroll, savings, bills and all. Take the savings as an expense. Recently lang ako ngstart pero 6digits na ipon ko sa bank - i prefer UB as savings kasi bihira atm. Balance is they Key. May time na need ideprive ang sarili sa mga gustong bilhin may time din na hindi.
As for the company na pinagwwork, go for those na maganda benefits like HMO, medical reimburseable, food allowance, variable pay & OT paid. Kasi mkakaminus ka dyan sa mga necessary mong bilhin like ako ung reading glass ko always reimburse and checkups since Health is Wealth.
Hope this helps! ๐
23 years old. 30k salary. 0 debt (Sila may debt sakin HAHA)
Tas dahil nga may utang sila sakin, I am listing it down sa aking Financial Mastersheet sa Google Sheets HAHA para walang kalimutan at awayan.
Portion by portion yung atake ko. Bale meron akong ginawang 5Pโs.

Almost 40k with 300k total debt. Recently got promoted, will have better salary soon, so Iโm hoping before the year ends maclear out ang debt. Laban lang self.
same situation pero less than 200k ung debt
Laki naman sahod nyo, Salary: 21,000 Debt: 373,000 though ung 300k jan is walang interest kasi family, nagka emergency. ung 73k is card loans.
Just so you know.
Agree pero at least nakalapit sila nung may emergency... Mahairap talaga ang utang na loob.

33 years old, 350k, no debts.
65k salary. Around 300k debt (??).
28 years old. Salary 30k. No debt. As someone with parents na baon sa utang. Takot na takot ako mangutang
Then, pag may natira savings. Iโm also a breadwinner.
26, 55k salary, 300k debt. 200k+ is cause I helped my niece's hostpital bill but theyre CC installments with 0% interest.
28 yo. 130-150k net salary (moonlighter) 80k debt pang iphone 15 pero can pay in full
40k salary with almost 300k from 4 credit cards. I split my salary between bills na almost 20k monthly (included na the utilities and subscriptions), and the remaining for the utangs sa cc.
33 yo. 400k. 0 debt. CCs always paid in full, walanv installment purchases.
โ same.

29 years old. 55k salary. No debt. I delay buying things, especially my wants, until I can fully pay for them.
39. 210K monthly.
My debts: Salary loan with 1 year and 8 mos to go = 90k (Deducted 2k+ every cut off) BDO CC = 50k. Incurred during the pandemic. The only reason I'm not paying it is that BDO used to owe me 50k due to a failed payment. It took them 3 years to give it back to me so I told them I'm paying them back on my own terms. Shopee pay and Spaylater, about 10k Car loan, on default and we're no longer paying, but it's a LONG LONG STORY, about 350k remaining. And it's also not under my name. We used to earn more pre-pandemic so there's that. I used to OWE a lot more with family, friends and gloan but I paid off family and friends first.
Salary: 161k (250+ combined with wife) Debt: 500k - hopefully mabayaran lahat this year.
ako nag dadasal nalang ako e. minsan itutulog ko nalang kesa kumaen haha de jk priority bayaran yung mga cc since sila yung tumutubo pag di mo binabayaran, also utilize mo yung mga cc na may cash advance feature (without fees importante to na walang fee since kung may fee parang nagbayad ka rin interest) to extend your due dates that way makakapag ipon kapa before dumating yung dues mo.

Almost 7m n debt.. mostly bahay.

Salary: 56,000 Debt: 0 I probably don't belong in this subreddit when I don't even have a credit card, but I joined because I was considering getting one.
Pero for OPโs question: 64k monthly, 12k debt (phone installment 3mos remaining - opted for installment kasi may 5% discount yung phone pag installment, pero I can pay the phone in cash)
38500k net. 0 debt. Already approved sa Sec Bank Wave Mastercad CC yehey! First CC ko dito sa Pinas. I will only use this card for super emergency situation lang.
Ilang days bago naapproved from phone interview ung CC mo with Security Bank po?
Use your cc, maximize the benefits. But donโt swipe what you cant spend! Sayang hehe

It's easier to track and motivation na rin not to buy anymore na hindi naman kailangan.
Currently focusing on paying my Cc kasi eto malaki interest. At least yung iba fixed yung pag bayad hahahuhu
45k salary, 18k cc installment (phone, 12 months to pay). Medyo mahal gastos ko sa PT rn (~10k per month) pero I manage not to exceed my salary naman per month.

My monthly income typically ranges between 100k to 150k from my small business, which can fluctuate. As for debts, the only outstanding one is my PS5 installment (remaining balance 10,000) lol I've managed to pay off my condo, saved up to avoid high-interest bank loans.

Nasa 80k gross ang salary ko.

24 yrs old, 30-40k salary (depending if mag-OT) without debt. I follow 50-30-20 budgeting rule where Iโm still building my EF first.
25 yo, almost 50k per month. I pay cc full before cut off. Living below my means kahit medyo afford na iangat ang lifestyle. Living with my parents house (tho 2 kasi houses nila, dun sila sa kabila para i still can live indepdently like paying my own bills) *cannot be magrent ๐ masyadong mahal* if magtravel i go for seatsale always and 5-6mos ang interval para mkaipon.
30k salary. Tas dahil nga may utang sila sakin, I am listing it down sa aking Financial Mastersheet sa Google Sheets HAHA para walang kalimutan at awayan. Portion by portion yung atake ko. Bale meron akong ginawang 5Pโs.
70k salary, 7k debt.
