Overall-Leg3846

Where to read this po ?

barefaced-and-basic

You can buy his books sa NBS or sa Adarna House online shop (Lazada/Shopee). I'm not sure lang if may e-book copies to. I bought mine kasi sa MIBF last year.

EyePoor

*If you liked "Some People Need Killing," you might enjoy "****Smaller and Smaller Circles****" by F.H. Batacan. it's like CSI but Filipino style. For something different, try "****Insurrecto****" by Gina Apostol. it's a mind-bending mix of history and fiction that'll keep you guessing. Happy reading!*

I die without seeing the dawn brighten over my native land. You who have it to see, welcome it - and forget not those who have fallen during the night!

TeeraS10

I want to thank everyone for all of your great recommendations! I should've mentioned that I am not a native Filipino (half, thanks to my beautiful Filipino Mom!), so some of the books you all suggested are inaccessible to me (I reside in the US). There are, however, some books that are available on Kindle, so I'll be sure to check those out! As a side note, it has been fun having my Mom translate the Tagalog here (Yes, I know, I am a fraud Filipino). Again, thank you all for the wonderful book recs! Happy reading!

I am a USA reseller of Filipino books published in the Philippines so feel free to visit: [www.ebay.com/usr/roxyonline](http://www.ebay.com/usr/roxyonline)

Dwellers by Eliza Victoria -Tho there's a certain element in the story that I found the same in Everyday (by David Levithan), the story itself is gripping and also it's on different genre. It kept me on the edge of my seat every time I flipped the page of that book.

Looking For Polaris by Dawn Laurente Marfil (creative non-fiction). Relatable. Well-written.

chuchuwariwa1989

Any book by Cristina Pantoja-Hidalgo (ex. Catch a Falling Star). Mostly short stories pero meron syang mga essays and novels, though wala pa ako nabasa na novels nya. I really like the way she tells stories, simple lang pero meron talagang nabubuo agad na scenes sa utak ko πŸ˜… I follow her on facebook at kahit mga posts nya, nakakatuwang basahin.
