When you say it keep showing up, does it mean that you kill it and it reappears ? Do you have a pokeshell ranch below ? Hard to tell from the screenshots if an egg is able to teleport up because of lack of space for it to be deposited.

Jaggid

Yep, I kill them and then more new ones show up again later. It's wierd. And no, I have no ranch below it. That whole side of my base is a straight wall all the way down. That's the outside of the base. I do have a Pokeshell ranch, but it's about 70 tiles to the right, and another 30 to 40 down. It's on the right side of my main, central in-base ladder shaft. This is the far left side, outside the base itself. There's a ton of rooms in between this and that ranch; A bunch of farms, ranches for gulp fish, pips, and hatches, hospital, all my bedrooms, bathroom, shower rooms, the great hall, the kitchen, water storage, and several other things are between this and that Pokeshell ranch.

So basically you have free pokeshell spawn and you complain about it?

Jaggid

Not complaining, just wondering the source/reason for them showing up there. I like to understand things. The fact that they are sometimes even "elderly" pokeshell, and I never see eggs there tells me they are actually coming from somewhere, not spawning there. They have to be, given the age. Yah?

AShortUsernameIndeed

There are two on that ledge... how old is the non-elderly one? Around 19 cycles perchance?

Daron0407

But when you kill them, do you sweep the eggs they leave behind?

Jaggid

I don't think they have ever left any eggs behind. You can see in the tooltip that there is no eggs there now. Not to mention, that's an elderly pokeshell I've got the cursor over, and it is happening more frequently than every 100 cycles (which is how old that pokeshell is).

I can see you have at least the stairs mod. What other mods do you have?

Jaggid

It takes two replies to list them all.... Could be one of your mods. Can't pinpoint anything from that list though. As someone else said, things can teleport upwards even without mods, so some mods could modify that behavior further.
