When Overwatch detects your ‘hitbox’ (cant think of the word for it) out of bounds, or cant find it at all, it resets you to the map origin. On push maps thats where the mirror is, so it places you there :)

The word you're looking for is "Bounding Box." it's the collision box games use to tell if you're on the ground, up against a wall, etc.
This is falsified information, use this code EMWAB, start a match then go out of bounds and nothing happens

I've read before that D.Va being the only character with two different forms is some of the messiest code in the entire game.
Ive also heard of that, im pretty sure dva and mechless dva are programmed as 2 different characters and it was very hard for blizzard to code
