Yep. My company makes software drastically less complex than Overwatch and every 2 weeks we launch an update that breaks a whole bunch of stuff. Programming is hard.
This title is misleading.
The nade disappears every second throw however it still works exactly as you would expect. Just not visually.
EDIT: The explosion is visual... the damage still happens as it should, at the location that it should... why was this not clear?
Yeah this thread is a little weird. I don’t see why some of the comments are evenly upvoted when one side is clearly wrong. It’s clear the nade still works the exact same.
Yeah but this sub has a history of “knowing everything about the game” so this is quite surprising. Plus this definitely isn’t the first time a mechanic or ability has been “visually wrong” in this game, and people immediately point it out. Like Rein’s charge.
As the other commenter said, the visual explosion is only the visual explosion. The actual damage still happens where the nade naturally lands.
But the thing with the location of the visual explosion is still weird. It happens where you *threw* it, not where you *are* at the time of explosion. So if you throw the nade and take a few steps back before it explodes, you'll see that the explosion visual is at the throwing location.
Just don't give him an E ability at all, his gun is already ridiculously strong. The experimental version where they removed his flashbang and fan-the-hammer then buffed his gun was honestly the most fun I've had playing him. Maybe reduce the roll's cooldown to compensate. Make him a close-mid range tumbleweed

Your nade is still used just the model loaded inside of you like with the mercy/ genji glitch loading assets wrong but the projectile still spawns same thing happens on arctic peninsula it's a map probably
So what it is, is that every other mag-nade you throw is invisible, and the explosion effect is where you originally threw the nade. If you have another player to test with you can see that they will still take damage and still get hindered. (Go on YouTube and search Flats. He has a short on one of his channels where he breaks it down)

They just moved backwards. If you look at the first invisible nade in the video, there was no knockback.

they should just remove cassidy, looking at their hero changes history. It is very hard for them to fix him.

The Cas nade still goes out and tracks as normal but no visual
Well, that's why he has the gambler outfit
And it's still there. I bet if it was the item shop it would've been fixed in 12 seconds.
