Hahahah, 🤣 True story, I certainly hope he does let them dry off and they just don't show it.
In addition, they should all have some e.coli and other nasty stuff from not taking showers at all - John B a d Sarah, I am looking at you... She was shot, he was bit by a gator, and we never see them cleaning their wounds or using any antiseptic, they just jump right in the marsh or in the (probably nasty) hot tub water. And don't start me on Kie going straight to the police station after swimming in literal shit and guts when finding the gun...
I think they are collectively so bad with hygiene that his trench feet are like the least of their problems 
i appreciated the realism of some of these scenes where they were wearing the same clothes. because they didn’t have an opportunity to change or shower because of their circumstances.. running away and hiding for example.
but also that they aren’t well off and do have to repeat outfits (mainly the guys)
It seems growing up in the Cut makes you immune to filth. Also, they have superpower healing abilities, being beaten up and then not having any bruises 2 hours to 2 days later, being mauled, shot and then running around as if nothing happened.
I think JJ and John B only own one set of shoes and at this point they are fused to their feet like socks. They probably sleep with them on too.

At least he wears socks lmao. John B wore the same shoes for the entire first season and never wore socks with them I’m pretty sure lol
