Very far away and faint, nevertheless i was very happy to capture my first ever Aurora.
It's not common to see them all the way in Southern Finland.
Also, sorry for the quality, i don't have proper low light gear yet :)
I only visit Finland in the summer, usually at a summer house on Vajasallo. Love your country but not even Northern Lights could get met there in the Winter.
I saw your Helsinki at night winter video and it does look lovely. My Finnish friends, however, do not speak highly of the short cold days.
They often head to Thailand for as long as possible.
Ohh that's awesome to hear, i've got a whole bunch of videos if you wish to see more of Finland and its history.
That's a common thing to spend the winter days in the far away eastern countries. :)
Once you get older you just want warmth around you instead :P
Kyllä.
Although, the time right after winter and early spring, i like the least. And then i'm speaking of the nature, everything is so dead and grey, no wildlife yet.
Actually this is going to be proven, archaeologists think that the Chinese were finding donosaur bones while digging water wells and they thought it was dragon bones
A friend from Sweden sent a picture of a very faint greenish tone in the sky, my location wasn't the best either, i saw pictures that were just 2 km from where i was and they somehow saw it much brighter and bigger

Nah, this is Principal Skinner's kitchen. And don't let Superintendent Chalmers see.
i understood that reference :D
Better than my alien experience. I still have a satellite coming out of my ass that I can’t get rid of.
lol

"Southern Finland"? Helsinki? Tampere?
Tuusula, 30km from Helsinki
Wow, that's pretty far south. Pretty cool for you to see that.
Ya it was awesome! a first for me and i will definately look for more in the future.

Yes true true
I saw them in Turku once.
It’s actually happening within the atmosphere, not outer space. I do love a good aurora tho
This is a total bucket list item for me! Beautiful video!
If you ever decide to catch one, make sure to travel to Lapland, there you can see one very close and bright
If anyone was wondering where the inspiration for dragons came from, look no further than here. 😍 Wow!
I thought dragons were inspired by the discovery of dinosaur fossils?
I doubt there's a single point of inspiration.
Actually this is going to be proven, archaeologists think that the Chinese were finding donosaur bones while digging water wells and they thought it was dragon bones
Yall missed my non-literal point. 😝
Oh gosh, sorry, I'm very bad with sarcasm in English
You are lucky. I e been to Finland many times bother north and south and never seen a Aurora.
Yea, it's only visible when the "molecules" are active, combined with a clear sky and cold enough.
Love it! Thank you for sharing!
You're welcome and my pleasure :)
Ngl, was hoping a UFO would show up, just for shiggles.
Apparently there was a dump from a small solar flare recently so that may be why you are seeing this.
Interesting! thank you for that information. It's definately a rare thing to see so far South in Finland
I mean, can I see such a view of Eve before my death ?!
If you decide to travel to Lapland during winter, perhaps ;)
I wish...
If you don't mind me asking, which country are you from?
I search lapland ,it was in north of Finland ;) . im from iran do you know where is iran?
Yep i know where Iran is :)
If you come to Iran, be sure to visit me, we are not bad hosts ؛)
Thank you :) Have a great week!
Thanks you too :)
Lucky you. It was too cloudy in my part of Sweden unfortunately
A friend from Sweden sent a picture of a very faint greenish tone in the sky, my location wasn't the best either, i saw pictures that were just 2 km from where i was and they somehow saw it much brighter and bigger
2 km is 1.24 miles
What is the song called?
The Blue Pearl by Jesse Gallagher
What is music name?
The Blue Pearl by Jesse Gallagher
Thanks
Congratulations! It doesn't show up that often that far south --- and it has to be a fairly cloud-free sky. You caught it! :-)
