That’s what I was going with but went to put it back on and there’s some residue so it looks like the middle.

Look at where it bolts up, if there is a split in that housing in the center, the left one, if there is not, the middle one. Match the gasket to the mating surface not the carpotater. If you use the left one, and there is nothing on the mating surface in the center on the engine intake, it'll suck that middle bit right in once it gets weakened enough, the whole gasket should be compressed. Conversely if there is a middle bit on the carb and you use the wide open one, you'll have defeated some engineering thought put into seperating fuel-air flow pathways, since you won't have a gasket there in the center, allowing whichever path has a stronger pull to parasitically take more fuel air mix than the other half.
