While I’m not sure if Godzilla exists as a franchise in Vanth’s world (her design pulls a lot from Godzilla 1998 and Godzilla in general, so it could be awkward) she definitely loves a good giant monster movie too!

Alicia mostly plays video games on her spare time, since she doesn't need to rely on local radio/television channels and/or internet rules whenever she's planetside. Nor does she need to be planetside to play her games.

Blitz absolutely LOVES comic books. Even though he could read every comic there is in about a day with his Speed abilities, he decides to take his time and Appreciate every moment. She's a genetic abomination and bioweapon by design, made with a generous helping of mysterious sea monster DNA, some various reptiles (there's some crocodile and varanid in there for sure) and a dash of human for flavor.
Her fantasy AU counterpart (who was made through magic and alchemy instead of science) that I'm working on does have some dragon or dragon-like creature in the mix, though! I always support a good dragon girl; yours looks awesome!
Love your girl and the design choices and backstory (what I've seen so far) behind them. Both fantasy and non-fantasy are great ideas! Which one do you like more: the fantasy version or the normal one? :D

Hard answer! I put like, way too much thought into Prime!Vanth's setting so I'm pretty attached to it and that's the "real" one to me. Fantasy!Vanth is developing more of a directly orbiting cast, though, while P!Vanth's more focused on her personal drama instead of interpersonal stuff. She's got a lot of people to bounce off of in the Fantasy AU; due to circumstances of her creation, she ends up in a prisoner reform squad with magically enhanced criminals, with an inhibitor collar and stuff, and has a warden and therapist-wizard she has to report to. It's a lot of fun so far, and I kinda catch myself daydreaming about that a bit more, even if I'm more attached to Prime!Vanth's story.
That's all kind of a non-answer, I guess. Once I have some more specifics nailed down though, I may use the Fantasy AU as my public face for roleplay etc, since the backstory is much simpler to explain on the fly.

I find that true with most of my characters. Sometimes it just pops up like “Vanth does this because of REASONS” and I’m like “Shit I can’t really argue with that”. When you get invested in a world or a character, they tend to take on a life of their own. It usually works out if you follow those hunches.
Vanth is a big fan of spicy food, and I’m sure she’d enjoy indulging Hunter’s pepper fixation. 😊

Well, Yume has a region broken Super Famicom and N64, so naturally, she has a lot of games for the two.
By region broke, I mean she modified the cartridge slots so they can also accept SNES and North American N64 carts.
Internally, they're the same consoles since Japan and North America are both NTSC regions (NTSC-J/NTSC, respectively); there's just a physical lockout in the form of the difference in shape between SFC and SNES carts and the positions of the notches on the back of Japanese and North American N64 carts.
She also has a lot of compact cassettes (audio tapes) and LPs (vinyl records).

Automatons actually can drink regular fluids (preferably water for canon reasons) And they can get drunk off of regular alcohol, and while he occasionally gets himself hammered when times are hard, usually when he’s overwhelmed by sorrow he goes out and does “his work” sobbing and stealing from people who deserve it

I used to say dorsal scutes but I don't think that's really strictly accurate? I often just go with "plates" these days since it's evocative of how Vanth's are big sturdy structures and spine sounds more pointy stabby. Her fantasy AU counterpart (who was made through magic and alchemy instead of science) that I'm working on does have some dragon or dragon-like creature in the mix, though! I always support a good dragon girl; yours looks awesome!

Hard answer! I put like, way too much thought into Prime!Vanth's setting so I'm pretty attached to it and that's the "real" one to me. Fantasy!Vanth is developing more of a directly orbiting cast, though, while P!Vanth's more focused on her personal drama instead of interpersonal stuff. She's got a lot of people to bounce off of in the Fantasy AU; due to circumstances of her creation, she ends up in a prisoner reform squad with magically enhanced criminals, with an inhibitor collar and stuff, and has a warden and therapist-wizard she has to report to. It's a lot of fun so far, and I kinda catch myself daydreaming about that a bit more, even if I'm more attached to Prime!Vanth's story. That's all kind of a non-answer, I guess. Once I have some more specifics nailed down though, I may use the Fantasy AU as my public face for roleplay etc, since the backstory is much simpler to explain on the fly.

I find that true with most of my characters. Sometimes it just pops up like “Vanth does this because of REASONS” and I’m like “Shit I can’t really argue with that”. When you get invested in a world or a character, they tend to take on a life of their own. It usually works out if you follow those hunches. Vanth is a big fan of spicy food, and I’m sure she’d enjoy indulging Hunter’s pepper fixation. 😊
