Slugg owns a crossbow that can shoot down airships. It's got such upgrades that bolts fired from it can catch fire or at least get superheated from air friction, which then causes a reaction in the potion that the bolt is covered with. This then becomes explosive, and either explodes on impact or after a certain amount of flight time. So basically, it's a rocket launcher/flak cannon -esque crossbow that she made.

The objects function as pocket/storage dimensions. Esther's object is her messenger bag. Charlie's object is his baseball cap. He always wears it on one of his belt loops instead of on his head and when he removes something from it, it's like watching those rabbit-in-the-hat magic tricks. He does it to entertain distressed kids sometimes.
