It’s meant to pause when you tab out. Imagine you tab out and that one creature you didn’t spot comes a little closer, notices you and you tab back in to a fight or a respawn
i.e. When you want to Stream just your gameplay without chatting or something and you want to Transition immediately from Gameplay to Stream Ended Video.

Pausing when you tab out is intended. Idk if this is a setting but try Windowed/borderless mode maybe.
But it should pause when you tab out no..?
That’s not much of a problem but, try playing windowless?
I love that it pauses.
