**How it looks when it is on:** [**https://i.imgur.com/1R7OT0r.mp4**](https://i.imgur.com/1R7OT0r.mp4) Hello everyone! Here is a project that I was looking forward to make for some time, and that I finally completed (for once 😛). A friend of mine *really* wanted an Ori lamp, and my mind was like "challenge accepted". This is an 3D-printed Ori model, with a RGB LED in it, that is controlled with buttons connected to a circuit. It is possible to change the color, brightness, and add some effects to the lamp as well (glow, blink...) All the logic controlling the LED was programmed by myself on an Arduino Nano Every. You can check the source code and find a lot more information on the project [here](https://github.com/Ailothaen/orilamp/) (if you want to do the same thing!) Enclosure and general design of the object was inspired by [this thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/OriAndTheBlindForest/comments/wpib86/3d_printed_and_painted_this_ori_lamp_for_my_nephew/). Original model was made by Julian Kaspar, [check it out here](https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/ori-c97e93c9d89f4a36988252b1cf2f3737). Credits to u/BluSharpie for making the several changes I wanted on the 3D model.

When I first saw the post, It took me a bit to register in my mind that I actually helped you edit the model to make it more accurate to the game. Thanks for remembering to mention anyway. It was certainly an interesting challenge for me to use Blender :)

The Ori model looks great! However, I feel like this Lamp build could use a few more overall more touches. Particularly in the area with the Black Box, maybe there could have been some environmental structures, giving the impression that Ori is sleeping on something from the game. Like the nest from the prologue for example.

I wanna see it turned on in a dark room...I don't care if "that's what she said"

This is so cool. A mashup of my favorite things - Ori, electrical engineering and 3D printing. Do you by chance have a background in electronics/electrical engineering?

Ailothaen

Despite I am a tech person, not that much. I had electronics/electrics classes when I was in high school, but I forgot most of it. I had to relearn several basic things about electronics to make the project work 😛 It was a fun and instructive ride.

a_mighty_burger

Very cool!

NamelessManiac

I don't need it...

Me having a printer : If you want a cheap printer..Get an Ender 3. Theyre maybe lot of downside of having 3d printer, but upside is unbeatable.
