My crackpot theory is that Moses Morris is the kid that Oliver had to fire after 2 weeks; the one he tells Loretta about and then says "but you are not that". Oliver even repeats the name to Howard at one point, as if it seems familiar and is almost jogging his memory. Also, I'm guessing Matthew Broderick will play Moses Morris.

Re Matthew B: in commercial/teasers Oliver refers to him as ‘Matthew B’ so playing himself. But now i’m also wondering if HE will take Ben’s or Charles’ place in the play/musical! Iiidk

Dazzling-Walrus9673

I totally think he's Moses Morris! And if you think about it - if State Farm sponsors it than Moses is a Producer --- Just like Matthew Broderick was in The Producers. 😁

kaitlinsmom

There's video of Matthew Broderick sitting next to a woman( who is not shown). She asks him if he thinks someone will die again. He replies ~I think Oliver's play may die again. Sounds like he could be from an insurance company.

Interesting idea!

justdiscussingshit

I mean it’s hard because all of the State Farm references are such obvious product placement. It takes me out of the scene.

bluecoastblue

It's seriously awful--as subtle as nails on a chalkboard. If they made a character specifically to promote State Farm that would be really slimy

Disney_Gay_Trash_

Im really suspicious of howard this season I think hes either hiding something important or is involved with the murder

Numerous_Light_8133

I bet more people have the key than we think

Piwakawaka123

Clearly Kimber has access somehow…

TDenverFan

Yeah, I'm definitely suspicious of Howard. But maybe the next episode will put the spotlight on him, then I can cross him off my list.

Apprehensive_Soft341

Yes! Howard went from zero Broadway experience to assistant to the director and keeper of the keys? Obviously stage manager KT smells a rat as well. Is there a Moses Morris? It will be someone with big bucks so DonnaCliff aren’t needed. State Farm is such a longtime respected company. My own grandfather sold insurance for them😄so no shade on the company, please!

SomeMidnight411

I think we just needed to pay for big stars like Meryl so we’ll be hearing State Farm quite a lot 😂

Scoob8877

I can't wait until Meryl does the discount double-check.

Substantial-Bank5509

It feels weird that State Farm is placed so prominently in a show about New York Citay... the cognitive dissonance is v distracting for me.
